ND Proud

Another great win ladies and gents. This program is in a place where we can make mistakes, go out on the road, and win decisively against good teams. This is a program that will win upper echelon games - maybe not all of them, but they will always be in it. Most importantly, this is a program with building confidence that completely buys into what ND is trying to do - educate student-athletes for the next forty years of their lives while giving their all in athletics for their time at our University.

Are we Bama, Clemson, or OSU year-over-year? Probably not. But we aren't a "Tier 2" program. We have our own tier uniting academic excellence with a hell of a football team. I can absolutely live with that. I am so, so proud of our identity today.

Abundance of Caution and Care

Is College Footballs version of Thoughts and Prayers .... Bobby Carpenter made some good points on Game Day on ESPNU Radio this morning saying that is the reason teams are using to cancel games when they definitely have enough players to go .... He was talking about how with the exception of Auburn most of the SEC teams that cancelled this weekend had 3 to 4 positive tests ..... and that there were no position groups devastated .... he commended Clemson for playing the last two weeks because it would have been very easy for them to use the Abundance of Caution and Care excuse ....

He also made a good point ... in the Big10 if you miss three games you can't play in the Championship game .... so what is there to stop Northwestern if they win today from cancelling the game next week against Wisconsin for Abundance of Caution and Care .... which would knock Wisconsin out of title contention ....

it was a very interesting take ....

Clemson Donating Quarterback

There are a portion of college football fans that believe if Notre Dame plays Clemson in the ACC Championship that the Tigers will win by several scores. Anyone who has followed the game closely knows that the defensive absences for Clemson have been far more impactful than Trevor Lawrence being out.

So I have a question...

Since Trevor is far superior and all, can we borrow DJ for a game? Can you imagine this Notre Dame team with DJ as the QB!?
