Reading the forum tonight makes me hate ND fans

Instead of saying how bad Hartman, the Oline, Parker and even our D is (which boggles my mind) can you guys just maybe take into account Elko is a hell of a coach and we beat a decent team with a very good D as maybe the slightest possibility of why our offence struggled?
Or you know, continue calling our team a bunch of plugs and go back to beating your dogs or whatever you guys do.

Basketball MBB: 2025 SF prospect Landon Vanderwarker on unofficial visit

Notre Dame men’s basketball hosted 2025 small forward Landon Vanderwarker on an unofficial visit on Saturday.

Vanderwarker is a 6-foot-7, 190-pound recruit out of Westerville (Ohio) North.

Vanderwarker is not currently rated or ranked by Rivals. He has five total offers from Furman, Ohio, Toledo, Utah State and VCU. He’s also receiving interest from Notre Dame, Dayton, Indiana, Ohio State, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Associate head coach Kyle Getter was in to see Vanderwarker workout before school last month.

Football Five defining plays from Notre Dame's dramatic win at Duke

Here's my take on the five plays that defined Notre Dame 21-14 victory over Duke.

1. Todd Pelino’s second missed field goal
2. Mitchell Evans’ third-and-10 conversion
3. Sam Hartman’s fourth-and-16 conversion
4. Audric Estimé’s 30-yard touchdown run
5. Howard Cross III’s strip sack of Riley Leonard

What did I miss?

Ballsy Win!

This was a great win. On the road against an opponent that was playing in the biggest game in the history of its program. Coming off of a soul crushing loss. This defense is elite. Not worried about the offense as Elko is a great defensive mind and threw the kitchen sink at ND. This team will run the table and has a legit chance to win the CFP. Haven’t felt like this since 1993.

Call it Justice in CFB terms?

Talking about "flipping the script"...This time last week, I was a complete mess! Smashed my phone and a well-earned sentence to the dog house from my wife (still on probation BTW). Admittedly, being a passionate fan can cause serious life issues. Fortunately, I married "up".

Tonight's win doesn't come close to what could've been last week, but I can't remember having two games in a season when we took defeat out of the jaws of victory and reversed the script the following week in a similar fashion....

Yes...O-line was horrendous for most of the game. Penalties are a major reoccurring issue, and missed tackles and lack of overall discipline had all of the makings of a post-big game hangover. Seen this scenario more times than I can count in 50+ years of being a fan. That said...not many ND teams would've rallied like we did tonight. Hartman and crew made plays when it mattered most so we can live to play another day. This wasn't the case last year, and most years in the past...So perhaps we look back at that last drive as being a defining moment for both the season and the program? I'm tired of making Heisman moments for opponents. Hartman's demeanor and leadership were on full display. Not his best game statistically... but he's a winner...a gamer, and perhaps a ray of hope for something special to come. We'll see...For now, I'm cracking one more cold one, then off to bed on the couch

Football ***GAME THREAD | Final: Notre Dame 45, NC State 24***

I'm live in Raleigh, N.C., for more Notre Dame football.

f you're not following the rules and do not respond well to reminders, we'll remove you're posting privileges for the rest of the day. We have too much to do today to argue about it during the game. This doesn't happen often as we're pretty lenient in the game thread, but please keep that in mind.

@HotCarNut has disciplinary powers as a moderator. You can argue with him about the game, but do not argue with him about the rules.

Our game thread rules:

1. Use this thread until the end of the game for ongoing game commentary. We'd like to keep the conversation in one place. If something from the game merits a separate conversation of substance, go ahead and start another thread for that topic. When in doubt, post in the game thread.

2. Criticism of decision-making by coaches and players is allowed. But please avoid making it personal. Don't be malicious. Remember, that person's mother could be reading your post. If you cross the line, you'll lose posting privileges for the day.

3. Don't be a doofus. Have some respect for your fellow subscribers.
