Football Film Analysis: Notre Dame's interior offensive line needs to play better

Long overdue: Here's my look at Notre Dame's offensive line from Saturday's win over Georgia Tech.

A lot to clean up between the guards.

Football Film: What Navy's offense is doing this year

Apologies as I haven't been able to put together a written analysis on what Navy's doing offensively this season through film study.

However, Nick Saban did a breakdown on College GameDay last week. And I'm certainly not more of an expert than Saban. So start with watching this video below at 6:24.

Navy Crowd?

In looking at Ticketmaster, it looks like most seats are sold. Last 8 rows in the upper corners have not been sold but most of the rest of the seats appear to have been sold with a handful of other unsold seats in various sections. Still a good number up for resale. Hopefully those get bought and the building is 90% full.

Football Davis Sherwood publishes children's book on his journey to Notre Dame

Notre Dame tight end Davis Sherwood, who played a key role in ND's fake punt in Saturday's game against Georgia Tech, recently released a children's book based on the story of his path to Notre Dame.

Proceeds of the book will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County and Uplifting Athletes.

Here's how the book's described:

In this compelling autobiographical account, the author takes readers on an inspiring journey of determination, sacrifice, and self-belief. Driven by a lifelong dream to play college football, he faced numerous challenges and setbacks along the way. From overcoming doubts to navigating the intense demands of both academics and athletics, his story highlights the power of resilience and the courage it takes to pursue one's passion.

More than just a tale of triumph on the football field, this book serves as a beacon of hope for young readers, encouraging them to set their own goals, believe in themselves, and never give up-no matter the obstacles. With heartfelt honesty and relatable experiences, the author reminds us that the path to success is rarely smooth, but with hard work, determination, and self-confidence, anything is possible.

Football ***GAME THREAD: No. 12 Notre Dame 31, Georgia Tech 13 (Final)***

I've claimed an unmarked seat in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium press box, so let's get the game thread for Notre Dame-Georgia Tech rolling.

We will use this game thread as the primary home for game commentary from now until after the game. We have some rules we'll ask you to follow, which will be included below.

If you're not following the rules and do not respond well to reminders, we'll remove you're posting privileges for the rest of the day. We have too much to do today to argue about it during the game. This doesn't happen often as we're pretty lenient in the game thread, but please keep that in mind.

@HotCarNut has disciplinary powers as a moderator. You can argue with him about the game, but do not argue with him about the rules.

Our game thread rules:

1. Use this thread until the end of the game for ongoing game commentary. We'd like to keep the conversation in one place. If something from the game merits a separate conversation of substance, go ahead and start another thread for that topic. When in doubt, post in the game thread.

2. Criticism of decision-making by coaches and players is allowed. But please avoid making it personal. Don't be malicious. Remember, that person's mother could be reading your post. If you cross the line, you'll lose posting privileges for the day.

3. Don't be a doofus. Have some respect for your fellow subscribers.
