That wasn't his resume when Kelly leftSeriously? Versus someonewith zero head coaching experience.
Two years in Washington and he had them in the Championship game.
What was Alabama's record prior to Saban's arrival? Saban DEVELOPED the players he recruited. What did the players have to do with Alabama's success?
Anything?
What did the players have to do with Alabama's success? That had more to do with the coach.
That’s ex post facto. What happened at UW occurred after the Freeman hire. I’d bet people would be pissed with his hire considering his resume.Seriously? Versus someonewith zero head coaching experience.
Two years in Washington and he had them in the Championship game.
No, but he'll be on the hot seat for sure going into year 4Does Kelly get fired at 8-5? 9-4?
That had more to do with the coach. At Alabama? He should.
They have won 6 titles in the last 15 years.
Seriously? Versus someonewith zero head coaching experience.I don’t think ND fans would have taken too kindly to having a guy with just two years of Group of 5 experience and some NAIA experience as a head coach.
At Alabama? He should.Guarantee you he wins something before Kelly and Freeman
Guarantee you he wins something before Kelly and FreemanDon't you need to win something to be considered elite?
Don't you need to win something to be considered elite? They replaced an elite coach with an elite coach. Deboer is a legitimate Top 3 coach. Why couldn't ND go after him when Kelly left. Swarbrick got lazy, didn't want perform a coaching search.
It happens. One's desire clouds perception.Oh I know they’re out there. I was just trying to say that now people are up in arms when there were clear issues to me in 2021 and 2022. I’m talking more scheme issues rather than his lack of experience.
I recall you getting grief after the 2022 Clemson game for having the audacity to question what happened towards the end of the game. But now almost everyone has massive questions about Freeman only when it became super obvious.
Something not right down thereYeah if they lose this game it's almost at a fire the coach level of losing. Certainly it's immediately destroying any job capital or security that he'd amassed going undefeated and being robbed of a playoff spot.
