Golson again said today NIU is a good MAC team.Don't forget about NIU, we were told they were really good team after week 2, and they've disappointed since.
Your cluelessVegas doesn't rank teams. They set the lines. They shouldn't and will never be ranking teams. That is stupid and moronic
If you want to know who would be better at ranking teams I said former gead coaches and assistant coaches
Starting with Saban and Meyer and go from there
And Vegas doesn't know more about football than those 2. If you think they do.....
Well we already know you are a moron. Doesn't even have to be said
Vegas knows more about football than Saban and Meyer
🤣🤣🤣
IDIOT
Been listening to IB for a while. Coming from the perspective of. D1 football player. 2 yr NFL practice squad player and CFL. 24 year coach. 3 at the college level . 10 as a HC. And almost all the rest as a coordinator - you couldn' t be more wrong!Golsons takes are very simple:
Just watch the hacks at ISD and at IB who are an extension of Notre Dame's PR wing.
once any of those players/coaches/etc. leave Notre Dame, then its open-season for bashing (with the benefit of hindsight of course) lol
- Every opponent ND plays is good
- Every player ND recruits is good/underrated by the services
- Every scheme ND deploys is good
- Every coach ND hires is good
- Every decision ND makes is good
- Every win is good
- Every loss is good
- Every person involved in ND is good
- The conference is good
- The schedule is good
I wouldn't have a clue. I just said I understood how someone might come to that conclusion. So you believe TAM has improved quicker/more than ND? Based on what criteria?
So you believe TAM has improved quicker/more than ND? Based on what criteria?I'd agree polling has limited value, I can see why someone would put Texas A&M in front of ND after last night's game. The first game of the season was an eternity ago. One team can improve at a faster rate over a team it lost to over the course of half a season.
Well stated. I was also disgusted by how he left. No question. That said. Brian Kelly is a very good CFB head coach, and belongs in the top 10 group of top paid head coaches. I am a fan of his day to day coaching style.I say it again: I've been an Irish fan since being a kid in the 70s...and experienced Davie, Willingham, and Weis. It was bad. BK has a tough few initial seasons righting the ship...but he did it, thank God.
BK got ND aspiring to be a champion again. As we're incessantly discussing, he never got close to being elite, but brought ND to being a legitimate top 10 often enough. I prefer to look at the overall record, emphasizing the good rather than the bad.
It's ok to feel differently about him. No big deal. I get it if some dislike him, as at times he sure did ask for it from the fans.
I've been a fan since the 70's as well. he did right the program, but he also screwed ND in the end with how he left and what he said afterward. He's a douche and he could never win the big game, and it's a pattern that has followed him to LSU.I say it again: I've been an Irish fan since being a kid in the 70s...and experienced Davie, Willingham, and Weis. I just said it was unconscious! So it wouldn't even be your fault, you didn't even know you were doing it. All's I'm saying is calling BK a dead man walking, or appearing as such, and using that idiomatic language, would totally be associated by anyone at all on earth who speaks the English language as alluding to some sort of impending demise, of the person to whom such language was directed, and not just the look on their face. That would be the imagery evoked by such a description, almost universally. Termination, not resignation. My man, you're still over-reaching if you accuse me of not realizing what I am doing regarding BK...whom I have consistently defended overall. Again, I literally did that in quite a few recent posts.
Yes, I know you are protective of BK. Not that I obsess over posters, but you get to know a few...so should you, especially if you are going to accuse of them of something negative on a pretty liberal interpretation of what they wrote.
Agree on how he left.I don't feel for him, he was a complete douche the way he left and his sly remarks about ND after he he left.
Well you know how protective I am of BK. Maybe you just don't realize you're doing it. And you're caught up the frenzy, the collective frenzy of BK hate that reliably erupts among ND fans if anything ever unfortunate happens to him, and is immediately seized upon and riotously celebrated. And so it just naturally comes to mind, as far as the phrasing, that could be construed to include or hint at a possible firing. Not that it's going to happen, or certainly not imminently, because that would be silly. But just because, you know, when in Rome.... It's just human nature, baby! We're all here for the proverbial gangbang.....
