Like I said IU is not one of ND's toughest opponents, maybe 5th or 6th

Again I will ask, who was the tougher opponent for ND
SC or IU?

That was my original post.

I said ND has played 5-6 tougher teams.
Big difference comparing the two.
1. SC was on the road vs playing at home.

2. SC was played after a game on the east coast, so traveling 4k miles in 7 days could impact performance.

3. SC is a rivalry game. They are going to get up for that game regardless of their record.

4. SC is a very talented team on the offensive side of the ball.

5. IU may not be as talented as SC, but they are better coached and disciplined which makes them a better team.

No, I agree with the OP. IU is not a good team at all. He's convinced me. They're a top 40 team, maybe even top 50. And our win over them means really nothing at all. I'm expecting UGA to beat us soundly, by two or three scores, and no one should expect it to be close. Only thing that gives me a little sliver of hope is the way UGA struggled with GTech, but that was probably a one-off rivalry game. Because IU is a bottom half ACC caliber program, and I think Friday night amply demonstrated that. They just plain suck.

If on the other hand IU really was a good team, and playoff-worthy, that might have been a good gauge of how formidable we might be vs a big dog like UGA. But now that I know how shitty they are, I'm rightfully concluding UGA will beat us with ease. And we probably don't belong in the playoff anymore than IU did.
Notre Dame has a great chance to beat Georgia. I have concerns, but ND has the talent, and coaching to beat them.

Way to many negative plays

Shows how little you know and disingenuous you are. I already acknowledged that it was a long shot but you ignored that.

I’ve never claimed that he doesn’t have limitations. I’m just tired of ignorant folks like yourself downplaying everything he’s done.

Case in point, you cited multiple times that you were at the game. Big deal. If you knew what you were talking about, you wouldn’t be citing the fact that you were at the game.
Shows how little you know, stating the game was in question when it never was period. Stop overplaying the last 3 minutes of the game like it was some sort of comeback by IU when it wasn't.

I'm not downplaying anything, I said he's played well. I stated my concerns if they go up against an elite defense like Georgia and they are put in long yardage situations, will Leonard be able to deliver that pass that's needed.

I stated that the defense is going to carry this team as far as it will go and the offense will need to do enough to win the game.

That's not being disingenuous, that's being realistic. Maybe you should stop looking through rose colored glasses and ignoring the offenses limitations.
