They replaced an elite coach with an elite coach. Deboer is a legitimate Top 3 coach. Why couldn't ND go after him when Kelly left. Swarbrick got lazy, didn't want perform a coaching search.

I recall you getting grief after the 2022 Clemson game for having the audacity to question what happened towards the end of the game. But now almost everyone has massive questions about Freeman only when it became super obvious.
Yeah if they lose this game it's almost at a fire the coach level of losing. Certainly it's immediately destroying any job capital or security that he'd amassed going undefeated and being robbed of a playoff spot.
