What does next years WR room look like?

Maybe:

Thomas
Greathouse
Faison
Gilbert
Cam W
Saldate
Burress

And there will likely be a detractor or 2.

We may have to hit the portal again.
How do we even know if they're any good or not?
Faison is the best of the bunch but the others ...
who knows.

We aren't using a QB that can get them a ball down the field and see what they can do.
3 yard curl and sit routes continue and for god sake Jerome Bettis even today....could play WR running these routes.

Plus our WR coach sucks...

Moreover we MUST get a QB throwing the ball all around the field so it looks like some fun for any potential receivers.

Think about it...
Our best receiver is a Lacrosse player.
In other words amazing perimeter talent wants nothing to do with playing for us and nor should they.

This is bad in 137 different ways but the most glaring is above. Our best receiver is a Lacrosse player.
That says all about out WR recruiting, coaching, playing ,etc.

It sucks!

Might/should see one now. Nobody is convinced RL gives this team the best chance to win. I know some think he a 1st round draft pick but looking like Canadian ball if lucky.
Who in the holy HAIL....think's he's a first round pick?

If the Browns didn't have Watson then I would say they might take him 1st round...or the Bengals having Burrows otherwise they might trade up to the first spot to take him...
Maybe Al Davis if he was still alive would take him in the first...

But people that actually know football and what to look for at each position....

Riley is NOT a Sunday QB in any round. PERIOD!
Riley is NOT a D1 Top 12 ranking QB. PERIOD!

CFL and maybe Arena...
are they still playing arena? Even the CFL is tough as their field is even bigger.

He is not an NFL QB.

Weak inaccurate arm. The things you need in the NFL. Windows are tighter. Players are faster. Throws have to be faster. You don't need a 75 yard bomb but the 30 yard frozen rope is paramount.
None of which he can do.

Does ND lead the NCAA in ACL injuries this year?

Explain to me how the same coach had the most season ending injuries for 6 staright years on Sundays, gets fired for it and now in year 1 ND leads all CFB w/ season ending injuries??? Must be the most unlucky guy on the planet...REALITY says 1 common denominator and that's Landow, to suggest anything else is pure STUPIDITY!
Like leading the league in losses as a HC and being surprised you’re still losing when you hire him. Look the verdicts is still out, Bothelos injury was NOT a roll up. There’s some concerns here no doubt

Did we have something to do with Wake Forest cancelling on Ole Miss?

One of the problems. The ACC plays instate games for everyone except Miami Pitt Syracuse and BC I think. So it would have to be one of those. 3 of which are not warm. The other 3 more than likely won't be Championship level teams. Good teams? Possibly but 8-4 9-3 ish.And they might not want that tough of a game going into Championship weekend for Miami. why give Miami a home field advantage every other year? Make them come up to ND then the other years. ACC won't do that. Miami could be getting reay to return to their old winning ways. Remember this was a rivalry when they were an independent as well. This is the problem ND is beginning to face. The Super Leagues have enough quality games. They don't need ND. ACC still does but they are not going to be at a scheduling disadvantage to help ND. And USC absolutely is going to evaluate the games going forward. As they are now travelling East 4-5 times per season.
There might be an easy solution on the even years. Why don't we play Navy on Thanksgiving weekend? They don't have a rivalry that weekend, as the Army/Navy game is in December. It's pretty well documented that teams play poorly the week after facing Navy, so it would benefit us to face them the final game.

It wouldn't really be warm weather site the years that we play them in Maryland, but we often play them in places like Florida or California on the even years.

Take Purdue off the schedule

No, you don't get it. USC has indeed dropped ND from its schedule. ND is not disgraced nor is it party time in West Lafayette. USC is softening its schedule to enhance their chances of getting into the playoff. And they have repeatedly said this, quite clearly if you choose to listen.
I just mothereffin' agreed with you, or rather acknowledged you. Was that not good enough? Was there something about my tone you didn't appreciate? 66-7 stings, don't it. I guess that does suck to cheer for a team that gets reamed that severely. And as a bit of consolation, now that the most prestigious brand in CFB, maybe the most hallowed name in all of American sport, that of ND football, the Fighting Irish, is going to suffer a serious blow to their great tradition with the loss of their most time-honored rival, you can't STFU about it. And the reason being for this, as you proudly repeat, is so their schedule's easier. As in annually playing the likes of Purdue, and not ND. Because they will stomp your ass just as readily as we did. And they have the playoff to consider.

So I think everyone does get it, or they've certainly heard you out.

Take Purdue off the schedule

Yeah I think we get it. USC had dumped ND. The rivalry is over. ND is disgraced. Party time in West Lafayette.
