No but it's unlikely now. They may need to win out. That early loss hurt them.
No way would we be nervous at the 4th. We are the much better teamNavy had tons of unforced errors today. Had they played a clean game, I think we would have been nervous at the start of the fourth quarter. Assuming Army doesn't shoot themselves in the foot like Navy did, I anticipate a much closer game.
Lsu isn't eliminated yetBye bye playoff for LSU. Damn.
I guess that's true. But still, we blew Navy off the field. So I can't really sympathize too much. But that certainly was a shit ton of unforced turnovers. Navy must be pissed at themselves. They had like, two for the whole year before today. What the hell happened?Navy had tons of unforced errors today. Had they played a clean game, I think we would have been nervous at the start of the fourth quarter. Assuming Army doesn't shoot themselves in the foot like Navy did, I anticipate a much closer game.

Let’s bump this again…LSU just beat a really good Arkansas team by 3 plus scores they are going to get a big jump in the F+ ratings next week My guess is it'll be close between them and Notre Dame.
LSU has a lot of really high end talent at impact/important positions despite their overall talent not being much different than Notre Dame's. They also have 9 five star players on their roster to NDs one
I would take the talent composition on LSU's 85 man roster (stars and scrubs) over Notre Dame's (B fest) even if it came with more lower rated players on the back end
One side of that coaching tree got outscored 31-6 in the second half…Mike Elko vs Brian Kelly
3-0 LSU in the first quarter
p.s. Just me or is the brian kelly coaching tree starting to look really impressive ?
Miami would be a lot of fun. Wouldn't mind Texas either. Or even A&M.I so want Miami, Clemson, or the 3rd or 4th SEC team to play in South Bend on 12/20
I so want Miami, Clemson, or the 3rd or 4th SEC team to play in South Bend on 12/20It's going to be fun seeing ND host a playoff game while LSU gets an invite to the pop tarts bowl.
kinda like how ND exposed A&M who in turn exposed LSU?He's a perfectly great QB, but not at this level. He'd probably be a 1-AA all-American. Comes up a little bit too short in all the important measurables at the top flight. But he was very serviceable for us that one year. And just goes to show you about the SEC. They are the hegemons of CFB, and you get exposed there.
👍This was a great win for A&M. It helps ND. We just have to hope our opponents keep winning.
Lol. How about that “7th or 8th best team in the SEC”?! Have won 5 straight over ‘them tough’ SEC competition….yet ND won at Kyle FieldWin at USC first.
Great win for TAM. Brian Kelly and LSU had a second half that was very forgettable.
We don't need it. But it will help us get home fieldThis was a great win for A&M. It helps ND. We just have to hope our opponents keep winning.
As he always doesSpoke a little too soon buddy.
Those were some pretty effed up interceptions. Old boy is a gunslinger for sure, and he paid the price tonight for some reckless, just plain stupid passes. Cost them the game. But their defense couldn't stop Reed anyway, so it was a 2nd half collapse for LSU all around.Pretty sure the 3 int's in their own territory played a bigger role and LSU doesnt have the same D we have. It amazes me how often our own fans find ways to downplay this team.
