ND dominated FSU for 95 % of the game and only a pass that slipped between the hands of a ND defender, resulting in an FSU TD made the score closer.Don’t get me started on this head to head BS.
I’m thinking of the greatest con of all time.
Bobby Bowden and his Criminoles over the superior Holtz led Irish.
That was when I REALLY realized the corruption of the NCAA…it lives in infamy.
I tend to agreeHe's also not publicly attacking BK, with thinly veiled almost fighting words level insulting tweets as a rookie SEC coach to a former mentor who was instrumental in helping advance Elko's own career. Which would be almost bizarre it would be so unprovoked and baseless, and senseless to say or do such a thing, and direct a sentiment like that so publicly at BK after a big win.
He wasn't attacking BK. Unless there were shots fired earlier in the week that no one at all talked about in the media, and BK was somehow talking shit about A&M and pissing Elko off, he would not be making passive aggressive type remarks at his new rival coach out of nowhere, who was his boss for a year no less and who helped his career along. Jimbo had worn out his welcome at A&M, probably accrued a fair amount of resentment, and I feel like saying was notorious for being a punk, and being petty in his various dealings and behind the scenes antics, and definitely was a total politician as a coach at big time programs with restive fanbases and plenty of political responsibilities so to speak. Other than on the podium where he was just a typical southern-boy ball coach.
But maybe that tweet will become the latest ephemeral, scandalous shit to talk about for the next 24 hours. I don't have a twitter account, so if it's confined only to the twitter-verse I wouldn't know anything about it.
I'd agree polling has limited value, I can see why someone would put Texas A&M in front of ND after last night's game. The first game of the season was an eternity ago. One team can improve at a faster rate over a team it lost to over the course of half a season.

Polling is part of the corruption and farce that is the NCAA.
I agree, head to head trumps everything. If you lose to a team, with all things being equal, you shouldn't be placed ahead of them.
You were wrong about RL. He is a good football player and leader. He accepts your apology. 😉ND wins as I predicted by over 30. And the cherry on top is LSU getting eliminated from playoffs
TAMU looks great which is huge for us
I predicted in January a natty for ND. I placed $ on that and now that Pennick finally has Riley Leonard playing better I like my chances.
wtf was Pennick for NIU game? 😂
Give NDinNJ a break since his is Angeli's mom. Otherwise he would realize that RL is playing well. He is a dual threat and tough for teams to defend.Like Texas Am ?
He's now 18th in QBR. Since the NIU game, he's top 10
You are upset that he and the offense keep improving
That’s fine. All I’m saying is that their resume is very comparable to ND’s.Again, if they crush their last 3 ACC opponents, then I'll be more impressed. They all have winning records, and Pitt's undefeated.
I'm not ready to declare Clemson "back" until they beat some decent teams.
He has improved big time in the passing game.Dual threat means running and passing. RL hasn't proved much in the passing game. The real test will be what he does against playoff teams if he doesn't have another NIU game.
Again, if they crush their last 3 ACC opponents, then I'll be more impressed. They all have winning records, and Pitt's undefeated. Not the way Clemson has and ND got lucky that Navy had six turnovers.
No they don'tAre you serious ? Compare their schedules.
LSU plays USC, Ole Miss, A&M, Bama, Florida and Oklahoma.
ND plays A&M, USC, Navy, Army, Miami of Ohio and Northern Illinois.
Are you serious ? Compare their schedules.Does a 2 loss LSU team get in over a one loss Notre Dame is a good question.
Lucky ..... Come onNot the way Clemson has and ND got lucky that Navy had six turnovers.
He was doing constipated Cajun twerking! But they weren't a "force" in the 2nd half last night! It's fun to watch B K squirm.
