Who at 7-8-9-10 goes ahead of them? Indiana? BYU? Tennessee? Notre Dame?

Who?

I would only consider Tennessee.
All of them have better resumes even with a horrible loss to NIU. PSU hasn't beaten ANYONE of substance. Who they loss to is their best positive.
This season I watched Marcus Freeman lose to MAC crappy Northern Illinois in South Bend.

All head coaches have their problems.
Dead horse alert.

CFP Rankings

I don’t think 10 is a bad spot for the first release and it keeps and motivated. It will not stay this way. If ND wins out there is a path to a home game against IU. That would be fun. In-state rival first round.

Does anyone after this still think ND has a path at 10-2? What’s the path your seeing I am not?

How long will the new playoff system last?

If I want to rank teams, I'm choosing Saban and Meyer and former coaches.

If I wantto make spreads, I'll take Vegas
You’re beyond stupid

Saban and Maher don’t watch every game and they don’t have a clue when it comes to handicaping.

Did you forget, you said that you need people who watch every game and neither one of them watch every game

You’re a fraud

How long will the new playoff system last?

They know the game much more than people in Vegas.

With Vegas you have computers ranking teams and you'll get a 4 loss Ole Miss team in because their metrics look good

I trust the people who have played and coached the games and know ball
They only know how to coach, they don’t have a clue when it comes to handicapping and ranking teamd

You keep trying to change the narrative from handicapping and ranking the teams to coaching !

You’re disingenuous and you’re a fraud

How long will the new playoff system last?

Who are the people that are watching their games then? And can you name them?

Then ask yourself, do those people know more about football than people like Saban Meyer etc
Yes, they know far more than Saban and Meyer when it comes to handicapping the teams

You tried to change the narrative from handicaping to coaching

You’re disingenuous and you’re a fraud

Playoff Atmosphere at Notre Dame Stadium

The first committee rankings have me optimistic that we will host a playoff game if we win out. Something else I'm cautiously optimistic about is the atmosphere at Notre Dame Stadium for that game. We are conspicuously low on the list of difficult places to play. Gameday in South Bend is delightful for all the old alumni bringing their grandkids and reminiscing about the old days, but it really lacks in rabid fans ready to create a hostile environment for the away team.

A playoff game might be different. No one among the 70+ crowd of ND fans that I know plans to brave the cold in South Bend in December. l'm planning to go, though. And while I'm kind of old, I'm definitely planning to scream at the top of my lungs every defensive snap. Will this be the first time in decades that Notre Dame Stadium provides a substantial home field advantage for the Irish? Are many of you on this board hoping to grab tickets if we secure a home game?
