I think it's worse than thatThe NCAA HAS TO CHANGE THE TRANSFER RULES
College football is now in the free agency phase
Chasemeballs is some kind of stupid. Why don't you spew your jibberish on some other site and get lost.Just because the program is doing really well over the last 11 games doesn't take anything away from the importance of out recruiting your opponents especially if you want to sustain success at the highest level and compete with the programs that are recruiting at the top
Notre Dame still has yet to play a loaded roster this season Georgia is going to be the first opponent with more talent than ND all season
if Notre Dame had more talent firepower they'd be favored a lot more than one or two points right now
Merry Christmas gentlemen. With Mills out, our offense needs to take some pressure off the D.
Georgia is a monster challenge but they have to step up and take their game to the next level.
It all starts on our OL. They need to give us a chance. Then RL and the wrs need to make some plays. No drops. No turnovers. Faison needs to continue his accent. Collins needs to get his mojo back. Evans needs to play better
Challenge is high but we can still get it done
That is a reasoned take. I agree, the offense will probably need to step up its game a little bit. Would be nice to see RL hit a few more intermediate passes. And if we can hit a deep ball or two, great, but I am not getting too optimistic about that.Bottom line. Christian gray is actually going to need to play good and the offense will need to be a little better.m
Georgia rbs for once are not absolute studs and their oline is good not great
To me this game needs to be won on offense and make georgia more one dimensional
Losing so many players on the DLine hurts, it hurts the pass rush which is critical and it hurts against the run game.Bottom line. Christian gray is actually going to need to play good and the offense will need to be a little better.m

👍Basically you are a douche. You can't b1tch about the 2024 ND team because they are winning, F+ had them in the top 5, and they have a great opportunity to win a championship. So now you b1tch about the 2026 recruiting cycle. Yea you're a BIG DOUCHE!
Not sure KVA is going to play vs GAYes this is a big blow but KVA is back which is huge..
$$$$$$$$$ it’s about who’s paying the most NIL moneyIs there not a single five-star prospect out there that wants to play for this emerging program?
It just sucks to see that Notre Dame is still gaining no traction with the top flight prospects in the sport even with all of the momentum with the team's 11 game winning streak
Rumor has it this 2026 class might be one of the worst in the last 5 years
Losing Mills even with so many injuries at Dline is better (for lack of a better word) than losing a starting QB with NFL talent.Maybe. Depends on degree of difference between their 2 QBs. Nobody is in contrast replacing Mills and ND has injuries across the board.
Yes, the ND Dline has been decimated with injuries. My point was Having to play a backup QB is worse than having to replace Mills.Losing a starting QB is huge, and generally much more impactful than losing an interior defensive lineman. Not sure that is the case here simply because of injuries, we are already playing folks that were two and three deep to start the season. Rubio is a damn good replacement, but the issue becomes who replaces Rubio in our rotation? We may find ourselves playing two freshmen, Young and Murkam next to each other at times, and that is one hell of an ask against this Georgia OL.
Losing your starting QB is a bigger problem than losing Mills. That’s my pointIt's not just losing Mills. And I wasn't making the comparison.
The effect of losing Mills after we already lost 3 DL is huge
You seem very sure of the accusation about the the SEC, and I'm not doubting them, but to have Saban just flat out deny that was interesting.I've long said the college football student-athlete ideal has been a farce. But NIL and transfers ironically have leveled the playing field. The SEC can't hoard by paying under the table...nor create another USC and Pete Carroll a death penalty outcome, as hypocritical a punishment as there ever was. Hence t deeper pocketed blue bloods now being in pole position.
This is semipro. I've no illusions about it. And as such, why not make the ranking, seedings, and playoffs as meritorious as possible.
Let's find out who is the best semipro team of all!
BTW: I also recently posted how the semipro angle doesn't stop the mob from coming. Again, think SEC honks who never attended any college, much less the schools they break the bank for. Americans love this farce evidently.
I only follow because of Notre Dame. I'm no saint nor holier-than-thou. But the Irish are my last hope for a program by and large doing the right thing...that perhaps can beat the pure semipros.
Notre Dame has a chance to combine paying players, a solid academic path, a social mission, and a great football team. That dream remains alive for me. As long as the Irish are competitive, I remain hopeful.
Back to full circle...make the playoffs merit driven.
What do you think that number is.....honest question and just curiousTexas will not let out their real NIL. Their 2 QBs - Ewers and Manning - are pulling together around $9 million. They have access to an endless supply of oil money
Your point was well taken brother and aside from ND that fits OSU better than the other teamsI’m not trying to “ stir the pot “ or anything. I’m just saying Ohio State has most talented team. Yes Michigan beat them as did Oregon. Kudos to them. Tennessee was no slouch. They beat them vey convincingly.
You're such a killjoy. Is there not a single five-star prospect out there that wants to play for this emerging program?

What is the “false grades were rampant, even at ND” period you refer above?I too lamented the demise of at least a nominal student-athlete ideal. I think we discussed in the past how giving false grades was rampant once even at ND. Then it came under more scrutiny, with some but not all colleges clamping down. But even with this, the athletes were part of the college and student body.
They're now fully going semipro.
And yet the people come. I admit I was riveted last night watching Ohio State. Their fans are genuine. Many graduates behind a culture of winning. And former players. Deep coaching DNA.
I wonder if their players take harder degrees? Grades? Again, maybe some of these easy degrees can be a remedial academic path? At least with money management & personal finance? Securing that NIL with ROI?
ND can take charge here. As a social and Catholic mission. Yes, I'm fantasizing a bit...because I believe in the ND brand, Catholic mission, and winning.
🙏
It sure is changing. Maybe, just maybe, glimmer of hope for not the worst.
Say it ain't so...To you they are not.
But they have real 5 stars on the field. Just because the service told you so doesn't make it true
