Notre Dame is up in F+ in relation to UGA by a healthy margin: this is why it matters!

It's wrong to assume that everybody sees things from the same perspective. My perspective is that I enjoy opening up my thoughts and ideas of Notre Dame football to get feedback and criticism on them --as a way to vet them for credibility, logic, accuracy, etc. This forum provides the platform that allows me to do that and I really appreciate it. I enjoy the emoassioned responses and even change my thoughts and opinions where the logic makes sense to do so. I really value all the thought and effort in the good faith debates on these controversial ND topics
You stated that there was a MASSIVE gap in talent.

If that was the case Georgia would be favored by 10-14 points

How about facts and geometric like logic, it would appear that you don’t appreciate those two items !

ND getting whipped in 2012, 2018, and 2020 BSCG & CFP has hurt the credibility, But, one thing to remember, 2012 Alabama, 2018 Clemson and 2020 Alabama were crazy dominant teams, 2018 Clemson beat ND 30-3, then beat Alabama 44-16 in the FInals. 2020 Alabama beat ND 31-14 and then beat Ohio State 52-24 in the FInals.

The 2018, and 2020 ND teams would have beaten that Indiana team at home, and IMO had a chance to do some damage in 2024 12 team CFP. There are no dominant teams, and that includes Georgia, who have lost 2, and were a whisker away from losing 2 more. If ND plays well, they can certainly beat Georgia, and IMO would be expected to beat the winner of Boise / Penn State
No it hasn’t, only one team wins the NC.

The fact that ND competed for the NC so many times is a testament to ND’s football program.

To put things in perspective, what are the graduation rates at Clemson, Alabama, LSU and Ohio State ?

Notre Dame is that rare institution that combines excellence in academics and athletics

Proud to be ND !

The D has lost a lot of key players. So I understand why their fans feel the way they do. Plus Christian Gray gets burned a lot. RL will have to come up big in the passing game to win. He's gonna have to take his game up a notch. I would run the ball at their D to try to wear them down. If we try to pass a lot on 1st and 2nd down it could be a long night.
Doesn’t that depend on whether or not you complete those passes ?

We are going find out how good ND really is. This game will be the measuring stick. You have to win these games if you want to gain respect. Otherwise , a loss just reinforces the same old drum beat.

I’m not so sure I agree.

11 teams will lose in this year ‘s CFP

ND is building a culture of success in a new and difficult environment

Success breeds success !

ND will have had a very good season, one to build upon, even with two losses ………
and a GREAT season with just one loss.

The fact is that ND football is competitive and relevant and trending in the right direction

Pandora's box would be easier than this mess...

Some players are making hand over fist through the productions of other player
Case in point a great o-line makes the offensive ball handlers millions while receiving nowhere bere that amount, and they don't even have to attend classes
Do you hear wtf you're saying? You're actually making a claim on a given player's NIL money, and because football is a team sport, every individual player owes some of their success to his teammates. And presumably, by this truly perverse reasoning, he should be bound to share some of that money with them? With the OL, and the OL should all get their cut?

Good effin' god.....
