Oklahoma vs Navy

My theology professor at Notre Dame used to read us your Nietchze in class and say “That’s good stuff.”
It's true though. That's the 'master morality'. That was like, his big gift to social criticism and proto-psychology. He's not really a philosopher per se. And you see it on full display with CFB fans. They don't care about reality, reality's what they want it to be. Or morality is whatever they want it to be, if you prefer. Whatever suits them. Because this situation is not subtle, and almost not even fit for reasonable discussion or disagreement. That's how blatant and utterly undeniable the NCAA's rank exploitation has been, with a paper trail of incriminating evidence, and legally, philosophically, morally, they're just completely dead in the water. There's no gray area. No ethical wiggle room. But it doesn't matter to these guys, and they just defend it anyway. And that's the master morality. It's morally right because I want to be right.

When thirty (30) plus players

It is what it is but it is getting worse and escalating. Eventually I think it will effect viewership and ratings, especially if large number of players are opting out of bowl games and league championships. They can do what they want; but if the players don't care why should fans?

The players who elect to play care. If ND players are in a bowl, I believe most ND fans will continue to care as well.

A good Read On College Football and money, NIL and the Portal

Morally bankrupt... that's me. And the big money types? I guess that means the athletes. College football players, big money types!

College football is not going back to the 1970's, when schools such as ND, USC, Bama, Ohio State, etc, could hoard 90% of the best talent coming out of high school. Those schools were "the big money types".

Colorado

If you want to turn around a dumpster fire program quickly, the transfer portal is the way to do it, while at the same time recruiting. It's the new way to do things. Still have to coach the players that transferred in. Your argument doesn't make sense.

And improving the team immediately through the portal will boost recruiting interest. A person may hate Deon's style, but he has led a remarkable turnaround at a program that had been dormant for years.

No we do not have worse infractions. Players getting too much help from tutors <<< a cheating operation run through the coaching staff.

Playing ineligible players is an offense that automatically vacates games. It is a significantly worse offense, and therefore draws a significantly harsher penalty. It is like the difference between an illegal motion penalty and a roughing the passer with targeting penalty.

Colorado

As I said earlier, he ran off 48 players from last year’s team and brought in 51 from the Portal.

That’s not coaching. That’s just finding better players from other programs.
