Too simplistic. Lots of intangibles. Which ever team controls the line of scrimmage has the best chance of winning in a clean game. Turnovers as always the biggest of those intangibles.I know it’s a team sport, but one QB has been a starter for multiple years in college and other hasn’t been a starter for multiple games in college.
If ND can’t win this one, the program is permanently second tier.
This is a bad take. Notre Dame is 12-1 in Freeman’s third year, they have recruited well and have a really good record against ranked teams.I know it’s a team sport, but one QB has been a starter for multiple years in college and other hasn’t been a starter for multiple games in college.

Agree. No question about his abilities but experience is a factor.
No question about his abilities but experience is a factor.I believe the backup QB concern for Georgia isn't as massive as most think. Stockton broke every single HS record, even records held by Trevor Lawrence. Georgia has a stud backup QB.
I think they are more than capable of winning this game. I never felt that way in 2018 and certainly never ever in 2012I feel you brother. I thought Ohio State last year would finally be the moment we beat a big dog.
In the past I had expectations we would win against Bama (2012) and Clemson (2018). I was actually so confident we would beat Clemson in 2018 that I was depressed for an entire week after that game. I thought it was so pathetic that I let a football game, that I wasn’t even playing in, effect me for such a long time. Since then, I’ve gotten rid of all my expectations and I’m no longer disappointed after a loss.
Enjoy the game for what it is, entertainment. Don’t go in expecting a win or a loss, just try to be grateful we get to watch another game of our beloved Irish and enjoy all the emotions it will bring out, good and bad.
Go Irish!
