Notre Dame passed for 90 yards, and frankly, I wonder the same thing watching the offense for 4 quarters.
I don't understand. The numbers aren't relevant. Winning the game matters. Who says it has to be won in a certain manner ? If they win the next two games without significant passing yards will it still be a question ?

do we have to hear or read about "Notre Dame is going to have to take some shots down the field " ? Talking heads and many here having been claiming that for 14 games. ND hater Trevor Matich was bemoaning that again this morning. I swear many don't even watch the games. They just look at the numbers and draw conclusions. They've played the same all season. Protect the football, move the sticks and grind it out. The short passing game is effective when needed. Great defense and amazing the difference a healthy quality kicker makes.

That said, you gotta stay in your lane and play to your strengths.

Can we talk about the effin refs?

In a game like this , everything is scrutinized. Both teams made critical mental mistakes. There were also some questionable penalties. With that said 4 plays really stand out. The first fumble caused by Shuler was huge. The strip fumble on the QB just before half. The kickoff for the TD and a huge drop from the Georgia WR that may have been a TD. Though they did score shortly after that. But those plays were crucial to the outcome.
Since Georgia did score shortly after the drop, I'll substitute the 4th down stop after interference was called on Kiser. There were was about 9:30 left on the clock when we took over at the 10 and effectively bled the clock down to 2 minutes to seal the win.

Officially Official Sugar Bowl ND v. UGA Game Thread

Junior has been good all year. And had a big game today. You said he wasn't a rotational player even

Hinish....crickets

Freeman coached a great game.

I think you are upset we won 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Our lbs were the main reason the run game for georgia got stopped, not our interior dline. Hinish had a huge play to end the game but he was getting leaned on a bit. Our interior dline played very hard and held up though.

I am stoked we won! Especially with riley passing terrible, denbrock not having a great plan, the team being undisciplined with a lot of penalties, and the most blown defensive assignments all year. The run D, riley running (when it was finally called), and special teams were great though. Need Offense to be much better next week.

We have to play much cleaner vs penn state as they do a lot of window dressing to try and get you to blow assignments.

Best LB group in ND history

They couldn't run like these guys and dominate laterally like they do. Now don't get me wrong those guys were outstanding. I know I played against some of them . This group currently is really special. Great to see KVA back on the field. Can't imagine how good they'll be next year. Lose Kiser but more talented guys in the pipeline. Max doing a phenomenal job with that group.
Good point about Max Bullough. We all know what a tremendous job Mike Mickens has done as a position coach, but Max Bullough has been great, too.
