Does This Short Week Hurt the Irish?

You’d have to be in total denial to think that having fewer days isn’t going to have a negative impact in terms of creating a game plan and in terms of physical recovery from the Georgia game.

Let’s ask the question another way, would you rather have seven days to prepare or eight days to prepareafter playing Georgia,

Especially whenYou have to travel back to South Bend, and then travel to Miami prior to next Thursday’s game

How can you not want an extra day?

Officially Official Sugar Bowl ND v. UGA Game Thread

Our dline played solid, they played FAR from lights out. Golden had so many well timed run blitzes called and the LBs, and safeties did unreal against the run. Yes the Dline made some huge plays against their awful LT. I'm not saying our front 4 played bad, but to say our front 4 was stuffing them is just untrue.
Other than one run, 34 yards in 28 attempts, and you don’t think the defensive line played lights out

Could Riley Leonard be back for the 2025 season?

NCAA is looking to increase eligibility to 5 years vs 4. If approved, it could open the door for a Riley Leonard return.

Football Some quick snap count/film grade raw numbers from Notre Dame's Sugar Bowl win

Because of this quick turnaround into Orange Bowl prep, I didn’t have time to do a full-throttle snap count story yet, as I usually do, the day after every game. However, I will get one done eventually. But in the meantime, I wanted to share some raw numbers from Thursday night’s Sugar Bowl.

Riley Leonard or Ian Book

Leonard for me. That play where he dove for the first down and almost landed on his head shows how much he wants to win.
It shows how great of an athlete he is. There were multiple runs where he pulled away from a Georgia DB. Ian Book is not that type of athlete.

Love Ian, but he was predominately offered by MAC schools and WSU for a reason. Against elite teams, you need either an elite passer or elite athlete, of which Book is neither.

We didn’t create much separation yesterday and when that happened with Book, Clemson and Bama contained him. We lose that game with Ian Book. Riley Leonard made up for the advantage the Georgia secondary had. They sold out to stop the run but still couldn’t contain him. We finally have an elite QB, albeit as a runner.

Week 6 F+ Update: 8 of 10 Top 10 teams in the country are SEC & BIG10 | Notes about Notre Dame/College Football

Because the data/evidence runs counter to all the bias and erroneous narratives that are floating around the football program. And the truth needs to be stated emphatically in order to increase the quality of the product.
Well, it's clear you and your data/evidence was wrong. Notre Dame just beat the #2 ranked team in the Sugar Bowl in dominant fashion to advance to the semi-finals. Maybe you should stop posting your bias and erroneous narratives that run counter to the results on the field.
