Respect for Marcus Freeman

I like Freeman plenty, but if we don't look good going forward this year and midway through next year, you can bet there will be plenty of people calling for his head.
Nasty, you’re working too hard to be provocative. Price runs hard between tackles and you know it. He does bounce outside instead of sticking his helmet into a bunched up defense, but that’s a major strength, not a weakness. It feels like that’s due to a stiff arm near LOS, then he bounces it for 40-70
Runs between tackles that he doesn’t or can’t bounce he goes down easy
criticizing notre dame? yes with copious amounts of available data and evidence -- the criticism has been warranted. ND has been performing substandard for 3-4 decades.because it's the truth. your incessant posts trashing and criticizing Notre Dame are unwarranted and it shows how little you know about sports. You're clueless really. I suggest you take up another hobby, and I'm being serious.
My comment on the early PI against ND was, “they better call that both ways”Just rewatching this, it really was worse than I remembered.
The sideline interference was “do they really need to call that”.
The first PI was “He had his hand on the shoulder pad that’s PI”
Then on the face mask “you can call that, you don’t have to but you can”
The PI on GA on that same drive. 2nd and 7 with the defender holding the ND guys arm was “that just aggressive coverage”.
What a bunch of tools
Bauman has played enough. He has 10 career receptions. Look him up. Sherwood is a very good multi purpose guy and one of the most valuable special teamers. You post things in absolutes when it's nothing more than speculation. For the record I never opined that they're better blockers than Flanagan. They're certainly better than Raridon in my opinion this year. They aren't better blockers than Flanagan and they aren't going to play much if at all. Bauman hasn't played barely a significant snap in his career so you really don't know if he is a better blocker or not.
Well stated.because it's the truth. your incessant posts trashing and criticizing Notre Dame are unwarranted and it shows how little you know about sports. You're clueless really. I suggest you take up another hobby, and I'm being serious.
Agree. No Thanks, thank goodness.Round 2 byes? I don't that's a good idea at all. Thank God that won't happen.
Are you looking for work with f+?You know nothing about me. Nothing whatsoever. Besides that fact, some of the best general managers (guys who analyze the leagues they are in, evaluate, forecast, invest millions in talent, etc.) never played organized sports. It's a different skill set entirely.

I have thick enough skin where it doesn't bother me, but i'm more worried about how this makes the community look to new visitors/ potential posters who want to get involved in the discussion but dont want to be bullied for their opinions or called stupid, an idiot, a moron, or whatever else. The average age of posters here has got to be well over 50 -- is it too much to ask to act like it?
Star ratings are grades/evaluations of an athletes measurements, height, weight, speed, drill-times, strength, etc. (and their raw physical/athletic potential going forward) these evaluations/grades are earned over multiple years in camp, on film, etc. while prospects are 16-18 years old.
Good coaches are able to overcome lack of raw physical ability (e.g. jim harbaugh 2023 and marcus freeman 2024 and many others on a lesser scale) and develop the hell out of players fundamentals and maximize their skills, but from a raw physical material standpoint, there isn't much headroom. And players that do have a lot of athletic headroom going forward are awarded aggressive grades for it.
Georgia has an 85 man roster full of some of the rarest/scarcest athletes at their position out of HS: 30 players rated in top 100 composite, half of those the highest rated players at their position). Notre Dame has one player graded among the highest percentile.
With good scouting/evaluations/etc. ND has been able to find several diamonds in the ruff but in aggregate the collective difference in raw physical material between Georgia and Notre Dame are as far apart as it gets at the high P4 level.
It's just funny (sarcastically) and frankly really annoying to see Driskell foaming at the mouth, CONSTANTLY stating this idea that Notre Dame has the more talented roster, the more athletic roster, etc. which goes against all of the evidence/data on the topic. Its cringe inducing. To see someone state something so emphatically while having no clue whatsoever about what they are talking about.
No problem with disagreement, but why? What would you find negative about them?Round 2 byes? I don't that's a good idea at all. Thank God that won't happen.
You know nothing about me. Nothing whatsoever. Besides that fact, some of the best general managers (guys who analyze the leagues they are in, evaluate, forecast, invest millions in talent, etc.) never played organized sports. It's a different skill set entirely.Dont like Driskell his ego is beyond annoying but atleast he coached and played the sport. He can offer an educated opinion. You on the otherhand dont know sh!t about football and yet have the stupidity to claim you're the best "ND analyst around" Take a seat sport.
That is a fair assessment. Something about Freeman, though, made me believe from the beginning that it was going to end up as a great hire. He has an aura about him, and innate leadership qualities that you don't see too often. It was a high risk, high reward hire. Hiring someone with no head coaching experience does not work out more than it works out. Glad it did work out.
When Riley Leonard tells you that there’s an advantage in getting an extra day and you disagree with him, it shows what a total moron you areYawn.
Meanwhile, ever since Jeter's injury, our board has gone out of its mind over the lousy FG kicking. And how many of our posters have been saying Georgia was not as good as its recent NC teams and that we would win this game? I don't remember anyone mentioning our third-down woes, but if if we are bad on third down, what's wrong with mentioning that during a game?Maybe had a diff broadcast.
Listen again more closely, Mat the rules analyst absolutely does not say "Should" of been called. He says it "Could" have been called as if its a judgement. Say it like a rules analyst. "It should have been called, they missed it". I would have been ok.
His exact quote was "It could have been called....but...didnt get it this time"
I just felt the entire game it was dig after dig.......ND has the worst FG kicking.....ND is the worst in the country on 3rd down ....ND beat a not as good as normal UGA. They never really had much good to say about ND or thew win to me.
Feel how i feel, ESPN really does not like ND.
Can you just make your case without the insults? I have thick enough skin where it doesn't bother me, but i'm more worried about how this makes the community look to new visitors/ potential posters who want to get involved in the discussion but dont want to be bullied for their opinions or called stupid, an idiot, a moron, or whatever else. The average age of posters here has got to be well over 50 -- is it too much to ask to act like it?Stats only gets you so far. Many of those 5 star athletes don't live up to their talent, where many 4 stars not only live up too, but develop into 5 star athletes. What you don't realize. You are so stuck in 5 stars it really makes you look dumb, because at the end of the day these are 17 and 18 year olds that still need to be developed.
You comments about recruiting, NIL, and football in general show you are ILLITERATE and know NOTHING about the sport.
