I'm going to guess that he hasn't been committed to ND in a while, or in name only. Presumably our coaches understood this, and we're recruiting him or dealing with him as if he were uncommitted, regardless of whatever the websites said.
Anyway, I guess that's over with. He seemed like a cool enough guy to me. I watched a couple short little interviews on YouTube, just to get a sense of his personality. Maybe a bit big-headed, but overall seems like a nice guy. The only thing I would have done differently, in light of all the condemnation he's been on the receiving end of, is I would have de-committed from ND, during the summer or whatnot. Just to save everyone the heartache.
