I can not remember another team he has coached where defense was a priority. I believe coach Kelly feels his offenses would make up for a not so stellar defense prior to his hire at ND.

To bad this offense wasn't the offense of 2012

sadly Kelly started out as a Defensive coordinator before he became a head coach. How he can't fix the D here is just FUBAR. Our D line didn't even get lined up on most plays before Texas snapped the ball and half the guys just stood there and looked around all confused. I did not drink the kool aid going around this board nor did I post as the kool aid gang would attack to no end. Watching this game, I see an 8 - 4 or 7 - 5 season. Hopefully the D turns it around. I don't want to see another season where every qb/rb will have a Heisman like game against us.
