What really stood out to me was their tenacious defense and rebounding. With Miles and Hidalgo the ball is going to move around and that just rewards players for moving around, which makes us challenging to defend. Add Westbeld to the mix and we should be even better on both ends. USC is a top five team, and so are we. Looking forward to an entertaining final four season.

That was really fun to watch. Our defense throws opponents way off their game, and we do great job cashing in with transition buckets. A poster in a previous thread had a lot of praise for Liatu King. Very insightful - she does all the little stuff that makes the whole team look good. We might have the perfect combination of superstars and role players for a run this year!

More good news today - defending champ #1 South Carolina got beaten badly by a UCLA team that plays tenacious defense. We play (even more) tenacious defense.

I think the oddsmakers would favor us over any team in the country right now. We have games against current #4 Texas on 12/5 and current #2 UConn on 12/12. I'm pumped to watch both games.

Citron has gone from our number one scoring option to an elite role player. Her game hasn’t declined at all, but the team overall sure as hell is elevated compared to just two years ago. Ivy and staff have done a great job.

ESPN as usual slights all Notre Dame sports. The Women's NCAA page had multiple articles on the supposed successor to Caitlin Clark in Watkins from USC.

This came the day after Notre Dame had beaten USC badly and contained Watkins quite well.

We need Maddy and Liza back so that we have fresh legs and fouls to give. Scary how good this team is with as many currently sitting.
