Have you followed BB's progress? how can one assess the impact? BB is in a role where he can be brought along slowly. Wim is in a needed now role.
If Bama's qb's continue to struggle and they lose tonight, you might see him getting some playing time. Similar to Wimbush, he's the most talented qb on the roster. I don't think Saban would ever turn his team over to a true frosh qb. Even with all the talent.
I think Barnett flipping to Bama was a huge blessing. Wimbush fits our system better and looks to be the better athlete. Similar to Hunter Johnson. High profile, but I don't know if he is Kelly's style of qb to run the system as good as Wimbush or another duel threat qb.

They'll both have great careers and possibly play against each other in a major bowl game. Wimbush looked really good against a weak UMASS team, nothing more or less. There's a reason BB was Kelly's first choice, he was an excellent high school passer with high QB IQ and good feet and instincts to extend plays. Wimbush may in fact prove to be a better college QB, and I'm was thrilled when we got him late in the process, but all of us would have been thrilled and singing Kelly's praise if BB had landed at ND.
This is what I meant by my post. I think they both ended up in good places but Wimbush appears to be a better "fit" for Notre Dame and the offense CBK wants to run.

Perse...there are so many kids out there and not all can be seen. Wimbush didn't even have interest in ND until late in the game.
I think its a good fit right now for ND because I think Wimbush was more ready now than Barnett was.

Win bush is not the most talented qb on the roster that's just too stupid to say. He ran Against a soft defense he's not ready for a couple of years..
But stating his name as Win bush and capitalizing Against in the middle of a sentence makes you........ smart???? Didn't say he was the best right now, said most TALENTED!
