Apparently no one watched true freshman Pitt QB dismantle Miami. This was his first start! His name is Pickett.

I'll give him a break. Pat narduzzi had every one of his players believing we can not only compete but we can push the canes around.

Pitt wasn't robotic defensively. Pitt wasn't in awe.

I know it's easy to blame BW for the picks/fumbles but Chip Long didn't put him in a position of strength. Maybe it was the hurt hand or whatever, but that game should've started with QB runs, rollouts and more RPO's. They tried to run straight at Miami with that backside pull crap and didn't win 1 on 1's. As they game unfolded they were already behind the 8 ball and the originally game plan had to change. They just needed to get pass that game and Book could've started the Navy game. Oh well can't redo history.
