to impress this spring. By all acounts he is performing very well this spring. Doesn't mean jack till Sept. but nice to hear. Lots of weapons to work with. If Elko can get the defense straightend out, it is going to be a fun year.
When has ND had such an athlete at QB? Not sure they ever have.

Guess it depends on one's definition of athletic. Pretty sure an argument could be made that both Zaire and Kizer are pretty athletic. It'll obviously be great if BW is more athletic than both of them. I agree, the buzz is very positive - very much looking forward to seeing him play this Sat.

Haven't seen Wimbush throw much yet but that time is coming soon.

I hope we get to see Wimbush drop back and launch a 70 plus yard pass down the field like I've heard he has done in practices the last couple of years

When I saw him play against UMass, the difference between his arm strength and Kizer's was noticeable. And Kizer had a big arm. But is he accurate and can he lead an offense? Those traits are much more determinative of a good QB.
