Who else played &/or beat Navy?

My senior year we played a George Welch coached team at Annapolis and won. I had one of my best games ever. Years later I looked back and saw the Navy Tight Ends were coached by BC's Tom O'brien. I smiled knowing our defense had out played that group!

Sadly ND that year beat Navy by less than we did. ???

Navy had a high of 48 in beating Colgate, a low of 28 in beating Connecticut, also beat Air Force and East Carolina, no losses.
GOOO IRISH, we want a victory!

William and Mary rocks!! You guys were better than Michigan ! You beat Appy State !
Also beat Virginia and Virginia Tech at Blacksburg that year. Very impressive !

LOU had all the answers! Obviously a very talented young Coach! In addition to Welch & O"Brien Navy that year had Bellichick's Dad & Spaziani too. Many good coaches........

1993 at Veterans stadium in Philly. A driving cold rain the entire game. Halftime Navy 24 ND 17 . Keep in mind this was the week before the soon to be game of the century against FSU. I guess Lou Holtz lit a fire at halftime. Final score ND 56, Navy 24.
