Where's Golson5?

The Manning air it out challenge is some obscure challenge at a Manning kids football camp. Here are the past winners:

"Past MPA Air-it-Out Winners
2010 - Texas Tech QB Taylor Potts
2011 - Harvard QB Collier Winter
2014 - Oregon State QB Sean Mannion
2015 - Baylor QB Seth Russell
2016 - Southern Mississippi's Nick Mullens and Michigan's John O'Korn
2017 - Texas QB Shane Buechele
2018 - Wisconsin QB Alex Hornibrook
2019 - South Carolina QB Jake Bentley
2023 - Washington QB Michael Penix Jr.
2024 - Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard
Many of the past Air-it-Out winners went on to have rather lackluster careers — with the clear exception of Michael Penix Jr. In 2023, he finished with the second most votes for the Heisman trophy and was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft."

Again Golson5 sits there and cherry picks this one off obscure event that tells you nothing about an athletes actual skill and whether or not they are a good QB.

Good post. Golson5 is here for a d1ck wagging contest so his posts and arguments often lack intellectual integrity because trying to win an argument is more important to him than anything else (even the truth lol)

Make a good counterpoint, show good evidence that completely contradicts Golson5s point of view, and instead of taking his L and keep it moving, he'll just double down on his silly argument (facts, data, evidence, etc. be damned)

Next Mel will tell us his bff Riley is a Heisman candidate and first round draft pick due to all that potential

Many comments are funny. Here we fight one another with insults, while we all root for Notre Dame. Go easy on one another, became it's JUST a sport. Right?

:D

We're fans and we feel the pain. I do, not matter how much I say it doesn't matter. Jokes aside, I still don't think we need to insult each other.

I'm hoping ND wins out the rest of the way. At least get back to stability. Hence things like this worry me: https://sports.yahoo.com/nius-win-o...-may-force-more-abrupt-changes-190544340.html

The article discusses roster instability. Again, I imagined ND might be a beacon of stability. With select but decisive NIL and transfer, where it counts, like QB. Boom! Fail.

I look forward to sharing the journey with you all. Golson too. Even Chaseball, who you all pile on. It's all good men, we're all fans...most of us Subway at that!

I get the feeling the ND alumni here tolerate us due to a good education.

;)

Golson5 claims to be some guru in assessing talent. He claims to study games on individuals, etc. when in reality he's getting his info from BD and regurgitates it. Then when he's proven wrong on any topic, he can't admit it, instead he doubles and triples down. He's simply a fool with small man complex, and this is where he can pretend to be someone important anonymously on a forum.

I get people losing it a bit in forums. Heck, they do it openly on Facebook and LinkedIn. Never mind when anonymous. More so on topics of passion, sports in particular.

I don't draw lines in the sand because I know I can be wrong...even hope to be wrong when it comes to my no longer having faith in Freeman. I won't slang anybody. I try to filter the good stuff even a troll might bring in...not that I think anybody here is a troll.

Let's hope ND beats Purdue tomorrow. With some conviction and signs of recovery. Again, I have no faith in Freeman being able to get ND to the promised land. He's inexperienced and, as is clear by now, learning on the job from a very average base.

Hope to be wrong.

100% agree. I was completely wrong in laying the 28 vs NIU. I hope no one on here made that wager. 😂

To your point, I will be watching the game tomorrow and hoping for a win. Go Irish!

Well stated. I do not slang anyone as well. Criticize? Sure. But I make it a point to never disparage the man, the person.

All 12 are big games.

Coming off the home loss to Northern Illinois, this is a big road game for Marcus Freeman.

Huge, truth be told.
