During the starting lineup intros of Lions vs Packers he doesn’t say ND, he says his Texas high school

Does he have an issue or what is up?

He’s quickly approaching more nfl tds than ND receptions

Nd has a huge issue with throwing to a second te

A little confusing with how much 2 te sets we run

Incredibly short sighted !

If he wants to disassociate himself from Notre Dame let him get endorsement offers from his fellow high school classmates in Texas.

I think sometimes players just cite their high school, instead of their college. I've seen a couple of ND players do it over the years, and I've seen guys from other schools do it, too.

I watched tonight. It seemed half the players from both teams said their high schools or something else. One of them just said "thee."
They should make them say their college only.

I think Wright is just butt hurt that he was outshined by Cole Kmet his whole collegiate career.

The NFL has them record both their High School and their College. I believe the NFL decides which one it plays or even if the player picks if you pay attention it rotates / changes week to week sometimes.

I asked my nieces husband who played 8 years in the league and did it multiple times. He confirmed this.

Doesn’t he want to impress fans by showing how intelligent he is by saying he graduated from Notre Dame?

Seriously, why would you just assume he has a problem with ND ?
Why would you assume he does not?

I think my position is more easily supported than yours.

If you are proud of your roots you say so. He apparently is more proud of his high school than ND. That’s a reasonable assumption. What is your assumption?

Maybe he likes ND. Maybe he is ambivalent. But we can only know one thing- he likes his high school. So I pose the question - does he have a problem with ND?

I’m looking for an answer. Not a smug reply from you.

How do you know that he has not mentioned ND other times when on TV? You caught 1 instance where he used his HS and making a broad assumption./

Well part of my take on this is I do not watch pro football. In fact this game I flipped to was the first game I’ve watched for about ten minutes in a long time. Other than the social Super Bowl I don’t know how player intros are handled. I just assumed they would say college team

So , what you are saying is -- you went off the deep end and complained about something you have no knowledge of.

Well yeah I guess. But less complaining n more trying to understand why he would not mention ND.
