We dropped more spots than UGA. We lost on the road by 2 to an undefeated team. UGA lost at home by 28 to a team with a loss (Bama...but still a dominating loss).

NW is 5-0 with a great def and a solid win over top 20 team...yet is 14.

UF is 5-0 and just murdered the formerly #3 team...and is stuck at 12, barely ahead of the team they just murdered.

TAMU is 5-0 with some solid wins...yet is 11.

50 voters still giving #1 votes to OSU, despite squeakers against IU and NIU. Yeah...they're the champs, but I'd argue other teams have looked more deserving of #1 votes.

It's just a group of people voting - you don't have to agree or even acknowledge it - it's the playoff committee that calls the shots now ... It normally sorts itself out as the season goes on

There should not be polls until the official polls - way too much based on last season/pre-season rankings. Ohio State has done nothing to be #1 against very weak opponents. And MSU is over-ranked based on a "big win" over a bad Oregon team. And yes - we were over-ranked based on some of our early wins. Good news is - as the rest of schedule is proving "tougher" than the front half - we have both the challenge and the opportunity to get back in it. I don't see us going 11-1; but if we did win our last 7 straight - I like our chances.

outside of Baylor just about every top 25 team has had a struggle with some team this year which is why I don't think any top 25 team will go undefeated this year
