Notwithstanding the fact that certain people here and on the right think that there's some vast conspiracy between journalists and the Democratic Party to take down Republicans, major news sources such as the NY Times don't run something with anonymous sources without running internal protocols, checking multiple sources, and having a certain level of comfort and reliability with who is giving them their information. I'm not saying that 'anonymous sources' are always correct, but major news outlets aren't as reckless as you would suggest.
How do you suggest dealing with leaks?
Root them out and deal with them harshly. The problem is this, for every person in Washington who is disturbed by these leaks, there's another person who thinks the leakers are somehow heroic. But if both parties in Washington can agree that this is totally dysfunctional, regardless of who is in charge, maybe they can put a stop to it. But do you think the Democrats are bothered by all the leaks from the WH? I highly doubt it.
The party benefiting from the leaks is never bothered by it. There were a number of people on the right celebrating the release of Clinton emails.
While I don't want classified information getting out, I don't necessarily have an issue with certain leaking going on.
I read an article that stated many of the WH leaks occur because Trump won't listen to ANY constructive criticism from his own staff. I doubt you would see the same problem with Pence or HRC or any one else occupying the White House.
But who gets to choose? What if Trump thinks we have something going with Russia as far as the final solution with ISIS? So, as a show of good faith he shares some ISIS related intel with them, kind of as part of building the team. That would be a common play in the business world. So now that all blows up because nobody can keep their mouth shut.
Transparency is a noble idea, but in many ways its a pipe dream. Organizations simply cannot function with everyone in the public knowing their every move.
I suppose I could ask you the same "who gets to choose" question--I'm guessing you're not suggesting that people get fired for leaking any information. To some extent, it's incumbent on Trump to keep his staff in check. Loyal staffs tend not to leak if unless they think there's a giant problem.
For what it's worth, the business world is not the world of politics.
Maybe we'd be better off if they were closer to being the same. Not all the way, just closer.

Judges and juries do this all the time in the court of law for 'he said, she said' things.
This isn't anything similar to blackmail.
Furthermore, according to the story (if you've read it), the memo was circulated well before Comey was fired.
If this is 'much ado about nothing', then there are a number of Republican congressman who seem to disagree.

I would like to see Comey turn over all his memos on the the Clinton tapes, the meeting on the Tarmac, The private meeting with Clinton and her lawyer with no one under oath, and what gave Comey the right to not turn all his findings in the Clinton missing tape investigation to the Justice Department to determine guilt or innocence. Comey made himself Judge and Jury and overstepped his bounds.
I thing that it is time for the new Head of the FBI to investigate Comey for obstructing justice in not

The Clinton thing is really irrelevant to the Trump/Comey discussion. You're deflecting. If Congressmen want to get that information, then fine. It's not relevant to this issue, though.
You're assuming that the only piece of evidence is this memo, and thus it's not a strong case. Let's not conclude there's insufficient evidence before more evidence is able to be produced.

I'm surprised by the number of people that trust Trump instead of looking at other evidence that may suggest he's less than trustworthy. If members of my own party (and of the president's own party) - who would benefit from the president being in a good light so that they can continue to pass conservative legislation - start questioning what the president has done, then I'm going to give that some weight instead of dismissing it as "Trump is an outsider".

Market is over valued and too many negative catalysts ( North Korea, Middle Easr , rise in interest rates, no tax decrease, etc. )
Long Term Investors, if they can stomach hugh drops or one super hugh drop , can hold on and good Stocks always come back over time.
Short term Traders can try to trade on the dips !
Value Investors , like me, should have bought heavily 5 years or so ago, and have been lightening
Up on their positions for the last few years and raising cash.
Markets this high either eventually go way down and botton out eventually, or move in a long term trading range for Many years until value catches up with prices.
No matter who is President, the market will follow the investment cycles.

I agree Bodi ! This Bull market is very old and over valued ! I am about 70 % in cash, and the other 30% is mostly in hedged Option positions. I still make some profits being long in some options and short in others,
But I just can't buy stocks until I see values again.
Okay so the Trump/Russia “collusion” gets a special prosecutor. So how about a special prosecutor into the Clinton campaign’s collusion with Russia. You know the one where Podesta, the Clinton’s and the Clinton Fdn made huge sums of money from selling 25% of US uranium production to Russia while HRC was SOS and “approved” the sale. Or a special prosecutor to consider the death of Seth Hill, you know the guy that allegedly provided thousands of DNC emails to WikiLeaks. Or maybe a special prosecutor to look at what exactly Bill Clinton said to Loretta Lynch during their airplane meeting. Or maybe have someone look into why the Clinton’s just got approval for a 501 (c) (4) left wing political non-profit when the Obama led IRS denied 504(c) (4) applications to many right leaning political non-profits.
