Trump gives shout out

Fake News = Authoritarianism

When there are no facts, everyone bends to the myth of the ruler. Happened with Hitler, Stalin.... And that is Trump's first target, facts...

Really? Why do you have to go down that trail? You left wingers sound foolish when you bring up Hitler and Stalin all the time when talking about Republicans. It is also disrespectfull to the millions of victims of those evil dictators.

FYI, Three people in the meeting said he did not release TS info. Common knowledge was discussed. Also just pretend Trump did. The President has the latitude to make TS documents available to anyone, Therefore changing the status of the information. IMO, the left wing media is trying to helo the democratic party. and you could say McMaster was being careful however, to me he was laying out specifics so the leftwing nitwit brigade could understand. He also said the story in the WAPO was completely false!.

I don't see any reason why McMaster should necessarily be believed. Did you believe everything the Obama administration ever said? Trump's administration hasn't necessarily demonstrated much in terms of credibility.

That Trump, as President, can declassify information is not necessarily relevant or on point. The stories about what happened already explain this.

"President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State.

The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said.

The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State. After Trump’s meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency.

“This is code-word information,” said a U.S. official familiar with the matter, using terminology that refers to one of the highest classification levels used by American spy agencies. Trump “revealed more information to the Russian ambassador than we have shared with our own allies.”

You are clearly one of the exceptional 36% the NYT found!

A Roper survey in 2006 found that, in the midst of the Iraq war, six in 10 young adults could not locate Iraq on a map of the Middle East; about 75 percent could not identify Iran or Israel; and only half could identify New York!

Fast forward to this weekend, when the NYT repeated the same exercise with the latest geopolitical hotspot: North Korea. In an experiment led by Kyle Dropp of Morning Consult, he asked 1,746 American adults to point to where North Korea is on the world map. This was the raw result: The bottom line: just 36% got it righ!

True colors you ugly racist. Every post is racist in nature. A photo of Obama crucified. Wonder what the African American athletes at ND would think of you. Go put on your hood and shove a civil war statue up your ass.

Know what i'm dealing with now. Ignored.

You clearly have Trump Derangement Syndrome:
Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real thing, the first symptom of which, according to an op-ed in the LA Times, is a loss of all sense of proportion by those afflicted with the recently discovered disease. Some video of you and ecowanker!

Is that the new Lib thing? Everybody is a racist, everybody is a bigot?

Where was the stock market in January 2009 compared to January 2017 ? If you give credit to the current president for the current numbers do you give the previous president credit for the record breaking gains during his tenure ?
In general Presidents get way too much credit and way too much blame for the economy, on which they have marginal impact. I do give Trump some credit for the run up since the election, because he has surely increased both consumer and business confidence, which statistics will back up. But eventually that confidence has to be met with tangible change, and that remains to be seen.

Voted for Trump. Disgusted with previous 19 years.
Both bushes sucked. Clinton mostly sucked Obama a disaster.

Trump is doing most things right in spite of Dem children that need to go to time out for obnoxious behavior

If this obstruction crap continues I am ready for the next civil war.

Do not love Trump. Love the disruption he is causing among career lackies.

Hate makes these Dems a hysterical mob of whiners.

Love the daily entertainment

You think this is all a game? ISIS bomb-making information is no doubt kept quite close to the vest. The person who provided this information to the Israelis is probably being tortured this very minute, thanks to Trump's reckless indiscretion.

President Trump asked the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, to shut down the federal investigation into Mr. Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, in an Oval Office meeting in February, according to a memo Mr. Comey wrote shortly after the meeting.

“I hope you can let this go,” the president told Mr. Comey, according to the memo.

The existence of Mr. Trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the Justice Department and F.B.I. investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia.

When Comes refused Trump fired him.

What are you hiding, Donald?!

Someone needs to remind the President that this ain't Russia!

Hiring Flynn, trying not to fire him after it became obvious he was on Russia's payroll, firing Comey for investigating Russia's connection to Trump, handing over classified intelligence to Russian diplomats, and all of the rest.

"Lock him up! Lock him up!"

Toast.

Mike Pence just might be the luckiest man on Earth. Nine months ago he was an underdog for re-election as Governor of Indiana. Now he is going to be President.

so what is the crime and where is the proof. another leftist anti american POS

The crime is obstruction of justice, and the apparent proof (still be produced) is Comey's memo.

Do you think that anyone who disagrees with you politically must be anti-American?

Wow, so rude.

Certainly not representative of the classy ND fans I meet at the Stanford/Notre Dame games.
Trust me, these aren't ND grads. Also, educated republicans are happier than Democrats right now - this country is actually going to get a conservative president in Pence. I would have preferred Kaisch, but this is a major upgrade.

No Bodi-- Just quoting this new book from an historian who teaches at Yale. He doesn't mention Trump in his book but Timothy Snyder the author of "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century" -- wrote it because he is seeing the same things now with Trump. Fake news, delegitimization of the press, creating monsters in 'others' like immigrants. These are the very things that led to tyranny in the past.

As Americans we need to wake up and see that the past does indeed repeat itself. Is this what we want? I don't.

From the NY Post:

President Trump reportedly endangered the life of an Israeli spy operating inside ISIS when he revealed sensitive intelligence to Russian officials.

Trump had last week disclosed classified information with the Russians about a ISIS plot to take down airplanes with laptops, which was provided by the Israeli spy who infiltrated the terror group, ABC News reported Tuesday.

The president’s disclosure put the operative for one of the US’s closest allies at risk and jeopardized future operations.

“The real risk is not just this source, but future sources of information about plots against us,” Matt Olsen, former Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, told ABC.

The Rich Kotite of Presidents strikes again.

I honestly don't know what to believe any more. So some FBI underling calls a reporter at the Washington Post and reads him a part of a memo he is purportedly looking at, but won't send the reporter a copy of the memo. And this becomes the biggest news story of the day.

If Trump breaks the law, he needs to be held accountable, but something needs to be done about Washington DC leaking like a sieve. It's getting ridiculous. No organization can operate effectively this way. Imagine any organization in American if every executive board meeting, or even an office meeting between the CEO and an EVP, was leaked to the press the next day. They'd be freaking out, people would be getting fired, people might even mysteriously disappear. It's dysfunctional and its got to stop. And it needs to be a bi-partisan effort, which these days may be a joke.

"A walk-out is planned when Vice President Mike Pence speaks at Notre Dame. (Blade file photo by Michael Key)

In a demonstration intended to signal outrage over his anti-LGBT record, students at the University of Notre Dame are planning a walk-out during an upcoming commencement ceremony in which Vice President Mike Pence is set to deliver the keynote address.

Xitlaly Estrada, a Notre Dame undergraduate, said in a statement the protest — set to take place during the ceremony on Sunday — is the result of Pence enacting policies in opposition to the Catholic faith.

“The participation and degree-conferring of VP Pence stand as an endorsement of policies and actions which directly contradict Catholic social teachings and values and target vulnerable members of the university’s community,” Estrada said.

Prior to his election as vice president, Pence built an anti-LGBT record during his political career. As a U.S. House member, Pence voted against and denounced on the House floor “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal and a version of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.

As Indiana governor, Pence famously signed into law a “religious freedom” bill that would have allowed companies and individuals to refuse services to LGBT people. Faced with pressure from the business community and LGBT advocates, Pence was forced to sign into law a “fix” to the measure.

Organizing the protest at North Dame is a coalition of groups that include We Go High! of St. Joe County, Ind.; Michiana Alliance for Democracy; Alliance for Democracy; the Nu Black Power Movement; South Bend Equality; Inclusive Michiana; Planned Parenthood of Indiana & Kentucky; and the IWW Local 26. Organizers are using the hashtag #WalkOutND to build support for their effort.

In addition to Pence’s anti-LGBT record, the walk-out is intended to protest his rejection of the Syrian refugee resettlement program, support for Trump’s travel ban, and opposition to sanctuary cities, a statement announcing the demonstration says.

Bryan Ricketts, a Notre Dame undergraduate, said in a statement the demonstration is consistent with former Notre Dame President Theodore Hesburgh’s vision of school solidarity with the vulnerable.

“Like Father Hesburgh, we seek to stand in solidarity with the vulnerable,” Ricketts said. “We will walk out in silence, with respect for the human dignity of those with whom we disagree and with an invitation to the rest of the community to build an inclusive future together.”

The planned walk-out is set to take place weeks after Education Secretary Betsy Devos delivered the commencement speech at Bethune-Cookman University, a historically black college in Florida, and graduating seniors booed and turned their backs on her over controversial remarks she made comparing HBCUs to schools of choice. "

There seem to be a lot of Republican congressmen who are expressing concern at this "fake news".

Maybe you should exercise some independent judgment.
Fake turds like John McCain.....he clearly pushed too hard when hiding things up his bottom from the VC. Thanks for rehashing MSNBC you great dependent Maxine Waters disciple! Lols
