Today’s performance just proves my point about Freeman

For a significant chunk of the ND fandom, MF died to them after NIU. So impressive at it may have been, today's massive blowout win will not undo the damage. If it's any consolation, Leonard seemed even more shaky looking as a passer, though he completes over 60%. But as a so-called dual threat he delivered the goods. Even though the game was such a blowout, that any of our QBs presumably would have comfortably led the team to victory.

I need anyone who thinks that Freeman is the right coach is either a complete idiot about a football or just doesn’t care. The fact of the matter is we lost to northern Illinois state. That’s not acceptable. I don’t know how else to explain that there’s no excuse for this unless the coach is not teaching the so-called four and five star players at a play the game.

How old are you?
What a ridiculous question. ND outgained a Power 4 school by 400+ yards, had injuries, and pulled their starting QB at half. Since the Second World War, this was the fourth time that ND has won a game by 59+ points. The last time was in 1996. This is quite possibly the most dominant win you’ve ever seen.

So is Elko the wrong guy in TX Am because he lost to Freeman. Should they fire him too?

Exactly you've never seen real ND football! The fact you are the only one that kind of rides Golson5 jock in making excuses for RL tells me all I need to know.

Wouldn’t make the top 50 and just the games you’ve seen in person? So you’ve been to 50 games in which ND won by say…45+? Or are you just childishly exaggerating?

You were 1 when ND won their last NC and I was at the game! Like I said you've never seen real ND football!

The final score has nothing to do w/ how dominant a win was. The opponent has everything to do w/ it! In fact you see these games every Saturday just usually not by ND!

That’s the problem with some of the people that have a few decades on me, you’re so jaded by the last 30 years that you can’t see straight. That’s clear to me.

All you need to know? I’m very confident that my football knowledge exceeds yours, but you’re such an expert all because you sat in the stands.

Listen little guy you will NEVER know as much as me about the sport or ND!

It’s kind of hard to dissect a game that just happened live. It was a power 4 opponent, ND outgained PU by 400+ yards, injuries, and had the backup QB in after half.

It’s kind of hard to go off of more than that when they won by 59 points.

This won’t ever erase last week. However, if they can learn from last week and channel all their focus to the remaining games, maybe they can make a run. I don’t know. It would be helpful if they had a deep threat at receiver. If they can establish the run game then RL has a chance to be at least a decent passer. One game at a time. Miami of Ohio up next. Only game that matters

Did not have the team prepared had a bad game plan and cannot motivate anyone other than himself. He needs to go.
He clearly has an issue with letdown games, has had one every year. But he gets credit for having his team motivated for the big games.

A 59 year old resorting to calling someone little guy. And you call me childish.
Then stop posting like a little guy...RL isn't the answer and today's scrimmage will never be considered one of the most dominant wins in school history! Hell I've seen ND win more dominantly against Purdue many times and that's when Purdue actually had some good teams!

So the last time we scored this many points the first Star Wars had just come out. Impressive. Most impressive.

I believe he's still waiting on the money you owe him, you deadbeat.
I'm not surprised! Lol the first highlight on ESPN halftime show was RL staggering for his 34 yard td RUN and the announcer said RL didn't come to ND to throw a TD pass, everyone laughed. So even in a 66-7 win our QB gets mocked cause they know exactly what most of us do and any good coach...RL ISN'T THE ANSWER!

Never lost a bet to him or anywhere on here. He owes me money and everyone knows it. He changed the bet and everyone called him on it but you. He got the thread shut down too.

Your boyfriend is a fraud just like you. Weak ass

Meanwhile in Austin they have a dream scenario...2 potential 1st round qb's...who can flat out sling it...
Ewers 14/16 185 2
Manning 6/9 171 3 in about 8 minutes of play😔🤣

I’m with the let’s not carried away camp. Purdue is not that good and ND is a level or two above. Much as I enjoyed this win, it doesn’t make up for last week.

I don’t have confidence in RL for reasons we’ve discussed. I don’t believe Freeman and Denbrock can produce a consistent offense. Top 20 team for me.

As always, I hope I’m wrong. I hope the offense can evolve and progress. We got glimpses of alternatives to RL.

nd needs to go 11-1, simple as that. Anything worse and the season is a failure if we miss playoffs
