where Kelly and the offense threw the ball on all four downs that are mind boggling.

1-Down 3-0 with a first and goal from I believe the 5. Throw the ball four times with an INT on fourth down in the end zone.

2-After tying the game 3-3, ND gets a turnover on about the NC State 22 yard line and again they throw the ball four straight times the last one falling incomplete on 4th and 12.

3-Down 10-3 and driving to try and tie the game you get to the NC State 18 yard line and again try four straight passes. We all know how the last play went after coming out of a timeout.

Considering that they were playing in a torrential rain storm these three situations are inexcusable. How can the play calling be defended in these situations? To me they can't. He needs to be questioned about the play calling in those situations an d not be let off the hook for them.

Go Irish!!! Beat Stanford!!!

I nearly lost my mind on #2. I'm still a bit pissed off about it.
