While I was very critical of special teams and Newsome being erratic early in the season.
Two things stuck out to me.
1) Tyler Newsome won this game and didn’t receive credit for it
2) Kelly almost killed another game going for two points with a lot of clock left.
For Christ sakes will he ever learn.
Flutie questioned it right away.
Infuriating!
Kelly Lost Northwestern Cam McDaniel fumble game and Stanford 2015 game by going for 2

Incredible game.
The offense was night and day better
Tons of receivers catching the Rock.
Special teams playing well now
Stanford- best game of Kelly era.
2nd half was a thing of beauty.
The defense was raging!
Jerry “ Terry” Tillery playing lights out football.
I don’t think anyone cares what Okwara’s weight is. He is unreal!
Here is where I see a team difference:
When Yoon missed the 50 yarder.
Other teams- the momentum shifts.
This team doesn’t give an inch. Momentum never shifted.
All this being said, I was super over confident going to Miami last year. We know how that went. Deer in the headlights.
Bring the lunch pale and bury the Hokies and I will start thinking this could be best finish in a long time.
