Why is there all this total uncertainty surrounding, in this example, Ishaq Williams? Is he in ? Is he out?
Most often, when an NCAA player gets in trouble (DUI, Assault, robbery, under-age drinking,, etc.)
the public hears about it, the punishment is dolled out and there is an understanding of the situation.
This continuing uncertainty I feel has affected recruiting. I still don't know what happened with the academic impropriety last year, but it must be very serious for this cloud to be hanging still a year later.
Can someone please explain what it was that happened? I think some, or certain, recruits are thinking that ND is so strict in their policies and watchdog mentality that they are steering clear of wanting to sign up for ND.
There was some forms of cheating going on. This is wrong, granted, but what was it that makes all this secrecy dwell on and on?
