Temple does not give up a rushing TD to the Middies and holds Navy to 136 yds on the ground. This is a big revenge game , ND ought to roll these guys.

they are not as good as prior navy teams

This is NOT a good Navy team, in comparison to recent history. We will need to throttle down to stay under 50 pts.

While true if there is one team I absolutely hate dominating it's any of the academies.

The idea of throttling down is absurd. Zona is dead right, not one of these teams, Navy included, would throttle down on us. Dave Doeren would have loved to hammer us and if his team could have done it - he would have. Navy has beaten us plenty over the last decade. If we reassert the natural order of things this year and put a whoopin on them so be it. We need big, dominating wins for the next 4. It's not like we haven't seen this story unfold before. 2015 - unconvincing win against BC and we get dropped from the playoff because we did not pass the eye test that day. Then we shat the bead against Stanford, but winning the right way is critical at this stage.

Anyone that doesn't need to play against Navy should be taken out as soon as possible. There is a reason why they do studies on the win/loss records the week AFTER a team plays Navy.

Stanford is the next & last game after Navy. Very well could determine is we get in the playoff like it did 2 years ago. We need EVERYONE healthy.

Navy always plays hard, and I fully expect a tough game. Sure we should beat them, but those future Navy
And Marine officers are some of the best kids our country has , and there is no quit in them !
In spite of our talent, speed, and size advantage, Navy will come out and play to win !

I hope we beat Navy 77 to 0. They are not charity case snowflakes.
We need to try and crush them because they never give up. Everytime we pull back the throttle they come back and ambarass us.
I say the Irish win 55 to 17,

Bodie you're usually spot on...but this.

No.

It makes no difference to a committee if we beat them 55-0 or 35-17.

We've dominated and will dominate the remaining ranked teams... That is enough of a message.

88 I don't care what the committee thinks I just want the Irish to beat Navy 77 to nothing to satisfy my bloodlust ! No more Mr Nice guy !:)

This is a down navy team compared to most of the 2000s. Even still, they get their brains beat in and still don’t quit and make it a one score game at the end. Even when they’re not very good (abey looked hurt the whole game, played awful), they’re still a pain in the ass cuz they never quit. A tough out even when they get steamrolled most of the game.

I am more curious if Coach Niumatalolo tells Coach Kelly that this is the best team he's seen at ND like he did in 2012.

So, we didn't get our way against Miami who made our Irish, and by proxy, our own self esteem, a dumpster fire, and now we want to flex our muscles against an average but dangerous Navy team.
