1. As well done previously, we did not have the wall of security between our students & the Jay Hawks team bench area.

2. Storming the floor or the field is beautiful to watch & participate in as long as it is far away from the other teams' players & personnel.

3. If you had the UK Wild Cats on your schedule then your director of athletic operations would have learnt from us & would have done a marvelous job protecting UK Wild Cats from absolutely hysterical Irish students rushing the floor right after you beat UK in a buzzer beater.

The point of court storming is to celebrate with your team, but there are several videos of K-State fans taunting Kansas players, ever one moron hip-checking a player, total embarrassment! Their lucky a brawl didn't ensue, court storming is what your fans do when you don't expect to win, glad ND hadn't done it for a while, expectations of competing and winning big games regularly at ND is coming up.

I watched it last night and I thought the court side table was going to collapse.

There were a lot of players standing on it.

That could have been ugly.

At least musburger may have been squashed...

Storming the floor or field is idiotic. It takes away from the players who actually won the game and now directs the center of attention to the student body. The students can jump up and down and pound each other senseless outside the Fieldhouse or stadium if they so choose. Storming the field after beating Utah was an embarrassing all time low. Beating the 8th ranked basketball team who already had five losses is a nice win but hardly mayhem worthy. The KSU students can do better. Beat Kansas or Kentucky in the tourney and then we will talk.

mark packer and coach tom brennan who are hosting there CBB show on Sirius xm college sports nation right now are saying that today's kids need to stop storming the court and come up with there own thing as they say it's basically old school stuff that they did thirty years ago when they were kids

afterall, what could be better for players on a team that just lost a game than to have the home crowd storm the court talking trash to them as they try to make their way to their lockeroom? surprised there hasn't been a serious altercation . IMO this is a practice that should be banned. why wait until something happens? get in front of it.
