And to think ND had the opportunity on that late tOSU 3rd and 11. When it came down to Smith vs Gray on a total blitz. The identity of ND in that moment...taking punches, on the ropes, but in there.
For once this season, aside from the NIU loss, the Irish didn't make that play...if they did, I believe the 8pt march would have happened for OT. The Gods had that alternative, but left it to MF, Golden, and Gray, and Smith to determine the outcome.
ND is still great, fantastic season. A clear #2.

Nothing, except I don’t think OSU was “just” better. I think the defense had an outright bad game. Lots of credit for the OSU offense and Howard though.
Nothing. Sometimes you lose, sometimes you get beat. Last night ND got beat. If they played ten times I'd say OSU wins 7 or 8.
