So long Notredame

Being tolerant doesn't mean you have to sit and listen to someone speak. If a lesbian is giving a talk at your local town hall, and for some reason she offends you, you are more than welcome to leave. You have the option of "voting with your feet".

but if you walk out on a lesbian giving a talk, you are seen as homophobic and are vilified. You seem to be allowed to have an opinion as long as it lines up with the left. Just ask Tim Allen and his Last Man Standing Show.

How is tolerance for Pence's political beliefs given the same expectation for tolerance of someone's sexual orientation which they have no choice over.

Don't let the door slam you in the ass on the way out!

That might also have been something Pence could have said to those 'walkers'

and

as to values? Check out the Netflix special, "The Keepers" ... a series and you really need to watch every episode, so it takes commitment. It is 'Spotlight' HEAVY'. Leaves you wondering about the R.C. church of that era; was that just an aborant time or was it the historical practice.

Only when they (the Catholic Church) look out from the pulpit and sees empty pews will the truth start to be told. If you are a member and believe that the many victims are honest then ... how can you support such organized coverup?

Corroboration, the delemma from time passage and repressed memory, can be construed from frequency of unrelated uncoordinated allegation. This should be a valid argument put to the courts.

Maybe these documentaries repeadedly hammering away at the church will cause the church to reexamine purpose and regain it's sincerity.

The deterioration of Southern Cal Irish is very comical.

If one attends an event they should have more respect for themselves, their country, and their university to embarrass everyone involved by performing such a selfish act.

So what? The kids who walked out are being derided and vilified as anti patriotic snowflakes, etc etc. They never tried to stop Pence from speaking.

And Tim Allen's show wasn't profitable because ABC didn't own the production and because Allen was being paid a fortune. If the show is that profitable, some other network will pick it up. That is known as the "free market".

IMO, this has nothing to do with politics or exercising your rights it's about good old fashioned courtesy. We have become a society hell bent on being as rude, impolite and intolerant of people that disagree with us. This holds true for many on both sides of the political spectrum.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something.

If the right is going to play the "respect" or "courtesy" card, they probably should have nominated any of the other 14 people who ran.

College campuses have been hotbeds of dissent and unrest forever. This is hardly a new phenomenon.

Right or wrong isn't an Issue for youth, it is the province old grumpy mem. Childhood is a time of making mistakes and doing stupid things and learning from them. Taking away the students rights to misbehave is taking away their ability to learn and mature. I certainly agree with everybody's right to criticize them, that is also part of the process.

And each person has the right to make that decision for him/herself, not you or anyone else.

Neither was I, so maybe you should of rephrased that post to the person in question and not the right in general

I've seen multiple people here and elsewhere taking about how "disrespectful" the students who walked out were. I doubt those people are liberals.

You've generalize the "right" as being disrespectful instead of the individuals. I would go as far as to say in society the right is far more respectful than the left.

Isn't that also generalizing?
No it's called putting it in proper perspective.

If he had an issue with a posters issue he needed to reflect that to the poster not in general terms
I am of the conservative mindset yet I could care less who walks out on who..
He generalized that the right was being just as disrespectful to president Obama and I would agree with that
My point was there is more disrespect going on in this country for left causes then for right
This is undisputable

I claimed that Trump was disrespectful. I never said that the 'right' was disrespectful.

I didn't see Trump's name one time in this quote
You sir are generalizing the right

I can't help you if you choose to interpret my words in a way other than what I have expressly said I intended.
