I made some notes above to the days that the media has access to practice. Usually the days that we get updates on what's actually going on.

Just listen to Sports Beat (local sports show) each night. You will have plenty of updates.

And bonus, you will get updates on not just football, but the rest of the sports programs as well.

No worries.

Not sure if you are from the area. However the main personalities on it are Darren Pichertt (spelling) who is the voice of ND Hockey, and will also work the mic at the South Bend Cubs this summer. Joining him is South Bend, ND beat reporter Eric Hansen who played for Ohio State in college, and is the main football reporter for the area, but covers other sports as well for the Tribune. Then also there are a couple of Basketball reporters that will come in.

You can listen to it live on

Am960, or FM96.1 WSBT weeknights starting at 5:05 or so, and goes until about 7:00.

I'm from Pennsylvania so don't think I'd quite pick it up on the old radio lol. I'll give it a listen online though for sure.

If you are at work during those hours or just can't listen then the link I gave above will go to their pod casts. And usually the new one of those is up on the website by about 9 or 10 pm any given night. There is also a 961FM WSBT app in the app store (for Android not positive on iphone) that you can download and listen to the podcasts on there on your mobile.

Couldn't agree more. It will be nice to talk about football once again instead of having to drum up some sort of entertainment.
