He knows it will be ND or AuburnHe’s listed as a “Do not contact” transfer…. It’s a done deal.

Howard is a no go at ND.I like Howard of Kansas State better but I would like to see this all play out. I definitely would like a guy who can run and run rpo's. I think with Price and Love and a running QB we could be a great running team.
Howard is a no go at ND.
Riley has only 1 year of eligibility left.Well I’d hope so. He has 3 years more experience than Riley does. However that’s not the real question. The real question is: is Riley the best ND can get this season and if so, is he better than anybody else ND has on it’s roster?
More talented at what? Certainly not at QB.There wasn't top round draft projections for Hartman. None. This kid is more talented
Absolutely. Hes taller and way more athletic. Neither have big arms but Leonard's is probably strongerMore talented at what? Certainly not at QB.
Lol. 🤣🤣Absolutely. Hes taller and way more athletic. Neither have big arms but Leonard's is probably stronger
Want to wager who is the better QB?Wanna make a wager on who gets drafted higher?
You said he wasnt more talented than Sam....Now when ai bring up the wager on who gets drafted higher (talent) your changing it to who is the better QB?Want to wager who is the better QB?
Lol. Always nice to hear Mrs. Buchner. You said he wasnt more talented than Sam....Now when ai bring up the wager on who gets drafted higher (talent) your changing it to who is the better QB?
How are you going to measure that? Wins and losses, stats, what?
That a quick backstep if I ever saw one
🤣🤣🤣
I wouldn’t look at the numbers w Leonard. From a pure talent standpoint, he’s ahead of Hartman. Big and athletic, can run. I’d even say he’s a difference-maker athlete. He made some damn good throws against ND, when our D was physical and really pounding him.I agree with you if they are targeting him as the starter for 2024. If ND is taking him for depth and competition for the QB room, I'm ok with it. Realistically, Riley Leonard is a downgrade from Hartman who I didn't believe was anything special.
Leonard's numbers through 7 games weren't that great. 57% completion, 1,102 yds, 3TD, 3 INT. If Angeli or Minchey can't beat him out then neither are very good.
Yes sir. He’s played 3 seasons and Hartman, 6 seasons. Sorry for the confusion.Riley has only 1 year of eligibility left.
Agree with this and leonard is definitely more talented physically. With that said, i don't trust we'll run the right offense with him. WE clearly did not run the right offense for hartman and utilize his experience, reads, accuracy and solid mobility.I wouldn’t look at the numbers w Leonard. Hoping Parker and Gino can coach him up a bit. Click with a few of the WR, lean on our elite OL and RB…..the O should be physical and really able to run next year.
I think his ability to run is just below Buchner’s, but he’s bigger and much better thrower.
Everyone does this. Called backchanneling. Totally unethical and one of the guard rails the portal needs. Some Duke fans are complaining that a team broke NCAA rules by approaching Leonard before the NIL open period.
For a $1.5M sign on bonusI am willing to bet a good three figures that Riley Leonard will be enrolled at Notre Dame in January.
I believe this is a done deal.
According to Brady Quinn, no. Notre Dame does NIL by the rules. For a $1.5M sign on bonus
Lol. Brady Quinn is aka Desmond dumbass Howard., just a different School. Their schools never break rules LOLAccording to Brady Quinn, no. Notre Dame does NIL by the rules.
No Jim Harbaugh, no problem.Lol. Brady Quinn is aka Desmond dumbass Howard., just a different School. Their schools never break rules LOL
Do things by the rules
Sam got $1.5M from NIL to come to ND. It was projected PRIOR. He doubled it after he arrived.According to Brady Quinn, no. Notre Dame does NIL by the rules.
Should be claw backs!Sam got $1.5M from NIL to come to ND. It was projected PRIOR. He doubled it after he arrived.
He's already been rated by the player evaluation experts at 247 as a 4 star portal prospect with a .9200 rating (identical rating to Sam Hartman). They take into account film, athleticism, the entire package, etc.I wouldn’t look at the numbers w Leonard. From a pure talent standpoint, he’s ahead of Hartman. Big and athletic, can run. Nd doesn't spend a dime. That is against the rulesHe's already been rated by the player evaluation experts at 247 as a 4 star portal prospect with a .9200 rating (identical rating to Sam Hartman). They take into account film, athleticism, the entire package, etc.
Also, ND shouldn't be spending $1.5M to bring in 1 year stop gaps. Use that money to entice high 4 star and 5 star 18-year olds and develop them. This program needs a significantly greater roster across the board; build that roster up, take more risks on future talent, this program needs prospects with MAJOR upside across the board, way more than a stop gap QB for $1.5M.
ND has an NIL collective. They can invest in the collective so players are paid out more. They can also leverage their advertising partners and tap into their network of corporate partners and broker NIL deals for future prospects. They can also use that $1.5M towards other player/locker-room perks (like more training table meals for instance) to make their recruiting message more compelling.Nd doesn't spend a dime. That's the collectives business. Not the UniversityND has an NIL collective. They can invest in the collective so players are paid out more. But it simply isn't in NDs culture to invest in their talent, so they make up excuses instead as the losses pile up and the rest of the industry continues to pass them by.
I agree. Schools will literally accept sponsorships for their coaches yet get antsy when it comes to paying players outright. They accept innovation when it comes to creating revenues streams yet not when it comes to streamlining NIL.When I say invest in the collective i mean promote it, back it 100%, and help nurture its growth. Not treat it like it’s a family member with a drug habbit that nobody should speak about.
Who is GF?Apparently Loy said he’d announce today. Other boards say now he is saying the staff is upset he hasn’t announced. GF could be involved others are saying. Who knows. Not me, but rumors seem not great.
All I know is if we don’t get him this is a colossal **** up by Freeman again going all in on a QB. Some reality is going to set in when delusional fans see that Angeli is not that good in the bowl game.

His GF apparently goes to Auburn according to media outlets. I have no idea if that’s a factor at all, but other people on Twitter are saying it is so could be. Can’t trust Twitter though.Who is GF?
After talking with Parker he started looking around! His GF apparently goes to Auburn. I have no idea if that’s a factor at all, but other people are saying it is so could be.
Brilliant! After talking with Parker he started looking around!
McCord, Moore, Howard. If he doesn't commit soon, the staff ought to circle back to Will Howard. He's still available.
