Recruiting Last Night

ND can recover from missing out on a solid 4 star WR recruit. They can't miss out on a 5 star edge like Keon Keeley or a 5 star safety like Peyton Bowen.

ND recruits WRs the level of Greathouse nearly every cycle with relative ease. I'd rather have him in this class than lose out on him, but he's not a needle moving player like some of the other really important pieces that have slipped through the cracks in this class.
We had 1 WR last class. Wr is our biggest need in this class. Hes a really good player and hes ready from day 1 which we need.

For this class, he is not explendable

If Greathouse exits, we patch up the WR room with the transfer portal and recruit some higher end stud WRs in the 2024 class. This team is built for power running anyway. We don't need 4/5/6+ WRs with a defense, TE, and oline this good.

Don't get me wrong, Greathouse is a nice piece to this class, but his skill set seems replaceable.

I'm way more worried about hanging on to Bowen at this point and hopefully getting Keeley back on board.

We'll need help next year so 24 wont help our team next year.

We only really take grad transfers and the wr market there isnt the best

Wr is a huge need

I think the grad transfer pool will be better this year. For example- Flowers at BC. I think will transfer. He's an NFL talent but he needs to get outta BC for a year.

If they are really that good, the NIL teams will be offering the $

If they aren't, then are they really worth it?

No, No, No, ND needs to solutify the Texas pipeline on the recruiting. Great house is a talent that is hard to come by just because he wants to watch a college football game does not mean a decompression. I think TCU is a better team to begin with and will win

Flowers at BC would be awesome to get

Edwards went to KU this weekend, rather than visiting ND. But... what I'm hearing is his parents are all ND. I knew we're loaded at RB, but his speed and twitch would be a nice counterpoint to our current thunder at RB. We aren't losing anyone this year either, and J Price will be back!

Along with Drayk Bowen Dylan is my favorite recruit for '23.

When he committed to ND back in August he was ranked in the 300s (low 4 star). He's now jumped up to an overall ranking of ~200 and is now a mid 4-star and now he's apparently playing the field.
