Predict Final Four

USC losing to ND mid point of the season will not eliminate them if they win the Pac 12 and ND with their SOS is in with only a close loss vs. USC.

I will play:

ND
OSU
Bama
Auburn

I believe ND/USC result will eliminate the loser.

Ohio St.
Auburn
TCU/Baylor Winner
USC
That being said, I fill in ND rather than USC. With Sark at the helm, they may already tank prior to the ND game. I could see them losing 2 before ND. And 2 after.
The upside for either is there is enough left in the season for either to recover if it is their only loss of the year. I don't see both making hte playoff though.

Good point. No matter how well Golson plays I can't see him making up for the monumental shortfalls in character that infect the program under Jumbo.

If you don't predict ND to go 14-0 on this board you are not a fan.

If you don't proclaim Kelly as the second coming of Jesus Christ you should get an automatic ban.

Your posts aren't the same without the guy in the bath tub.
Did you catch my post yesterday on another ND/FSU senior staff connection? This guy has serious ND clout.....

Hahaha. I love that gif.

And I did see your post. That guy is awesome. I try not to get too personal on these boards, but I've been to games at Notre Dame two times and one of the times he got us the tickets. My pops knows him.

In no particular order:

1. The winner of the Oregon/Mich. St. game. The victor will win their conference and make to the final 4
2. Bama
3. TCU
4. ND

Zaire is out for season. Notre Dame will not go to the playoff w/o Zaire. But ND will go good Bowl game.

I wish I could pick the Irish. I just don't see the defense doing the things it needs to do in every game. I don't understand why, but they don't make the plays they need to on third down and in defending the passing game.

My four:

OSU - is there a poorer schedule among the contenders? Not even close.
TCU - Toughest game is at OU. They get Baylor at home.
Alabama - With the terrible competition they play prior to two of their biggest games and the bye before they other, they in effect have three byes before their biggest games. What a joke.
Georgia Tech - This choice is tough for a couple of reasons. No one is getting out of the PAC without a loss or two. Since Oregon already has a loss, and USC and UCLA have some tough road games, I am going to say that no PAC school ends up with less than 2 losses. That leaves the ACC, the Irish and a second team from one of the other three conferences. I don't think more than one SEC team comes out with only one L. I would go with MSU, because I think they only take a hit from OSU, but an undefeated Georgia Tech would get in ahead of them. I don't think the Irish go undefeated (two or three losses after all the injuries). So, out on a limb I go with Georgia Tech.

OSU Oklahoma, Georgia, and It will be a toss up between a 1 loss mich st and a 2 loss bama team for the the last spot. Bama wins west with 1 loss but loses to UGA)

OSU
TCU
Georgia
MSU

I would love to put ND in, but it will be hard to overcome losing our starting QB, RB, TE, and one DT.
