This defense is not play- off caliber. Let's put this in proper perspective fellas. Pitt is an offensive force to be reckoned with. Total offense - 91st, Pass Offense-97th, Scoring Offense-90th.

It kills me to say this, but we are not a top five team. Our Secondary is just plain awful. Pains me to say it, but it's obvious.

Totally agree. ND is a good team, but far from a great team. Not only is our defense average at best, but our offense depends so much on the big play that if anything is the least bit out of whack, we struggle.

Hmmmm.... I do agree Schmidt and Onwalu need to play better or bring in guys who can make plays. We miss Farley in there! Guy just makes big plays.

I don't watch as much as I'd like. But our defense is slow, we don't get a good pass rush, we tackle poorly and our best cornerback routinely gets beat as he just did. Now you will say is garbage time, but I say a team that is preparing for a possible playoff berth should be forcing the issue on Pitt at this point.
