OT: IT guys, anyone done the Windows 10 update

I have not, but I wouldn't update. Windows already announced bugs that they will have to release patches for. I'd wait for a few months.

I have updated. The important thing is to turn off as many of the 'spy' settings as you can find.
MS is gonna piss a lot of people off the way they arm strong arming users to allow them into your private biz; MS ought check with Keurig how customer relations can bring down a company. Also trying to force users to pay for what was always free and is available free on line is not a good decision.

Also to those that did the download and get annoyed with having to hunt down settings the GODMODE thing will put all the settings in 1 list for you. (just make a desktop folder name it
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
opening the folder is the entire listing of tools and settings.

Have had it for about a week now Pers.

If you have questions (and can see this message) feel free to ask, will help with anything I can.

I will say that if you are a Microsoft Explorer person, that Microsoft Edge, (their new web platform) is much cleaner and loads much faster.

Also Windows is using the same kind of method that Apple has used for years, being able to use information and connectivity between Windows devices. Rather they be Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, or Phone.

There are a few things I don't really like. But I do enjoy the 'notification' tab on the right that you can sync to your email. And bringing back the Start bar and button was a needed addition. I am not a fan of needing a web connection to use the default Calculator. And if you look there are ways to get around that and have the 'old' calculator that doesn't require it.
