Yellow Jackets are up 3-0 in the 2nd. They have a pretty decent defense. They held us to 24 offensive pts, and held Miami to 23.
Impossible no way a middle of the pack ACC could give a team from the mighty SEC trouble.
How can this happen with a tier 1 SEC team and middle team in the lowly Acc
No dude, the ACC is totally better. And that means ND's better too. Don't ever forget it.
Let's just hope GT holds on to win which forces Georgia to win the SECCG to make the playoffs.

Georgia wouldn't be knocked out. They are already in the sec champ game. Getting an at large now is over for them though

And they just gave a stat that regardless how bad they lose this game if they win the SEC Championship their in w/ 3 losses and in easily! Yet, we beat GT by 20+ and we're out if we lose a 2nd game?? I know NIU is a horrible loss probably the worst loss of anyone but, how many x's are they going to move the goal posts for these SEC teams and it's a ****ing joke. Just have the whole SEC conference in the playoffs and send the rest of CFB to the Bowls. This sport is ruined, they won't even get a 12 team playoff right cause too many people have their hands in the pie. $$$ has ruined CFB!

Just reinforces the parity this year. Still boatload of talent in SEC but no Bama 2012, 2020, or UGA 2022/2023 exists.
If Ga Tech wins why couldnt they have a case for the playoffs? This would be their 2nd win over a playoff/top ten team and techinically 3 because I believe FSU was top 10 when they beat them.
This actually would be a very advantageous win for ND. No doubt. Kind of the flagship team of SEC, losing quite convincingly so far to a good, respectable ACC team, that we beat with ease. So that would be one more 3 loss SEC team, and I would think a definite little SOS/formula bump for us.

They probably still will. I think that's a fair bet. But if it makes you feel better, and offers some consolation, I don't know how many bids the SEC is going to get. Too many 9-3 records.

No and we caught a huge break. Key is an excellent coach and they've already had some big wins under him. That's why even if we lose and I don't want to back in but, we smashed GT w/ or w/ out King! Needed 6😔
They really need to reassess giving conference champions a bye. Could have a 3-loss team with a bye.
Pyron was a similar type of QB, though, and played a very gutsy game against us, too.
