OT: Baylor vs Colorado(-1.5 fav) @ 5pm PT

They couldn't beat the breaks off North Dakota state....

lol
And Northern Illinois is Northern Illinois.

Good win for Deion.

Like N Dakota State? Or CSU?
I don't understand chaseball's comment at all. Colorado needed a couple miracles (at home) to beat Baylor, a fringe top-60 team. But we'll call that a big win for the program because the Bears handled Tarleton State (my 2024 didn't know that was a school discovery).
Agree. Why some people have such a hate fest on Deion is odd.
I don't hate Deon, but have been unimpressed with the attitude and execution of his teams. There is a simple reason fans say the Buffs are winning only because of 1 good qb and 1 star defensive player.

I think a team that is tenured in their scheme/system/program is better equipped to win football games than a team mashed together with total randomness. So in year 1, i think you take the talent improvement win at Colorado, but not necessarily hold the program up to competing to the level of its talent in a year 1.

I also think you gotta give Coach Prime some time to adjust to the P4 level. He's literally in only year 2 at the highest level of college football. His previous coaching career was at youth level to HBCU level. He's also learning on the job and its unclear what his potential as a HC is but its likely he'll be a better coach in year 2 than year 1, etc.
Nice of you to keep standing on the fence

Im not sure what Baylor's reputation is but Baylor is ranked 42 in the country in F+ to Colorados 70+.

The 3 non-TAMU teams ND has played are all ranked in the 80s & 90s ... (just to give an idea of the level of competition).

Colorado is only a couple seasons removed from winning just one game and finishing ranked 127th out of 130 FBS teams (back in 2022 the season prior to coach prime's arrival)

The fact that Colorado competed with a P4 quality team (regardless of the outcome of the game) is a sign that Colorado is getting pretty close to being a competitive P4 program themselves (if not there already)

And on another note, how many have watched a Colorado game? They are demanding the ball, talking trash to the other team, dancing after big plays, barking at their teammates, etc. they play with a lot of dominant energy.

Baylor beat two teams that are just plain awful and may be looking for a new coach soon.

Colorado has the swagger without blocking and tackling.
