How can Georgia be ranked ahead of Ole Miss in AP poll? Ole Miss kicked their butt up and down the field the entire game. Complete ass kicking

It's very hard to rank the 6sec teams

Texas, Georgia , Bama , Ole Miss, Texas am, Tenn

It's not easy

Quality of losses. Ole Miss lost to Kentucky and LSU while Georgia lost to Alabama and Ole Miss. Georgia also beat Texas and Clemson. Georgia is Ole Miss’ only “big” win. South Carolina is close to a “big” win.

The log jam at the top of the SEC makes it so someone will be ranked ahead of a team to whom they lost.

Voodoo accounting. This is how how the NCAA and Bowden jobbed ND out of a NC.

All things near equal, head to head prevails.

Until the usual doublespeak and doublethink is used for bias.

Anyways, for me it’s important to get the 1st true top 6 in. The next 6 can absorb some margin of error, which always exists to some degree.

They did. The game wasn't close. Arguably Lane Kiffin's best win in Oxford.

He has Ole Miss relevant..

I don’t care about losses etc. A head to head ass kickin is as straightforward as it gets
Tennessee beat Alabama. Alabama beat Georgia. Georgia beat Tennessee. They all have two losses. It’s impossible to not rank a team ahead of a team to whom they lost. Only in Mississippi’s case…because they only played one of those top teams.

If you’re Ole Miss, don’t crap the bed against Kentucky. Don’t lose to four loss LSU. They should be behind Georgia. They should be punished for their losses and less difficult schedule. They shouldn’t be rewarded because they happened to win their toughest game while happening to lose to two inferior opponents compared to the other schools.

Mississippi kicked Georgia's collective asses all over the field, and have the same overall record.

That’s not the end all be all. That should be obvious. At least Georgia didn’t lose to Kentucky. How many losses would Ole Miss have if they played Georgia’s schedule?
