Chip Long! I don't want anything to do with that prick. Nor would I understand why, even aside from his disagreeable personality and demeanor, he would be such a great or at least viable backup plan. Other than the fact that he coached here, running BK's offense, and we did great. He does have that going for him.

But given the apparent epic-ness of this blundering, I'm thinking small stakes now. Somebody easy, somebody cheap, and somebody who doesn't really have much in the way of better options. He probably checks those boxes pretty well. Maybe Ludwig himself wasn't really a cultural fit. Not saying he's an asshole, far from it, but at the end of the day, they just weren't feeling it. Either us or him, or both. We thought we wanted him, and he's got the required resume, but the chemistry just was't there.....

If we actually hired Chip Long, holy shit, what would that say about MF.... Nothing too good.....
