Notre Dame vs Indiana odds

I've been waiting all season for ND to play a formidable opponent with some cache behind them and instead we get lil bro indiana hoosiers and have to wait 3 more weeks until we FINALLY play an opponent that would move the needle

We're in the playoffs. What the hell is wrong with you?
Who have we played this season? Nobody.

Spanking lil brother at home is not going to move the needle. I'm a fan desperate for good games against high level competition so we can finally get an idea of how good this notre dame team really is.

According to F+, we beat 4 teams in the top 34 including 2 top 20 wins

And F+ says Indiana is 10th so that's a real good team because I trust what F+ says

So big matchup. Top 10 showdown acc to F+

You're a fool. We played Texas A&M, Florida St., and USC. Those are three name schools. FSU and USC in particular have storied histories. It's not ND's fault those schools had bad seasons.
Your constant bad mouthing of everything about ND is why you are widely regarded to be the board clown. Several times a day, your posts advise us of how little you know about the game. Pathetic doesn't begin to describe how limited your understanding is of what ND is all about.
The fact is that ND could play all ten of the top ten teams and you would still slam ND. You really need to find another hobby.

I feel like ND has been able to avoid any really good competition all season long and even when we play competitive teams/decent teams their best player is injured or something.

when are we going to get to go toe to toe with a big time national championship competing program head to head so we can FINALLY learn something about this notre dame team? Not until the sugar bowl vs Georgia and even they will be without their #1 QB and then if PSU gets upset by Boise or SMU it wont be until the national championship game.

my point: i want to see notre dame face the best at their best and leave no doubt that ND is the very best team in the country. those opportunities have been far and few between this season.

Texas A&M was a very good team when we played them

In general, I tend to agree with you, except I think that USC was a very good team, talent wise

The loss to NIU still baffles me

Ive been all year for you to make a half decent post & that hasnt come close to happening. We all have our crosses to carry sh!tbird.

All I will say is this. The table is set. It irrelevant what happened before , meaning it has no bearing on how you play going forward. Everything is right there. Every opponent is formidable. One game at a time is more relevant ever. Here Come The Irish ☘️!!

This playoff line up is all about matchups, not seedings, imo. IU is going to be a formidable matchup for ND. The one factor that makes this a close game or a ND win going away is the results of pressure on Rourke. If IU can correct the sacks that Rourke incurred against Michigan and OSU....this game will be a ball buster. IU has a veteran roster with a quarterback who has surgical passing skills. Both teams possess a strong secondary. If IU can keep the battle up front close and manageable....it shifts opportunities in their direction to a degree. The weather won't be a factor. If you saw the IU game against Purdue, they had no issues in freezing snow. I don't think Leonard has to win this game for the Irish. They need to run the ball and use RL's dual skills in the short passing game to keep IU off balance and frustrated. CCC will have the Hoosiers prepared to play. This is a good test for ND....which they should win, and likely cover barring turnovers and penalties. As a resident Hoosier....I did not want to see this game scheduled right out of the gate....but expected it.

I’m truly excited for this match up!!!! IU has been poo pooed all year long!! This should help with keep Indiana’s top players in state!!! JMHO!!!

NIU high level enough?

I'm not a betting man but I've got a hundred dollars that says this joker is not a Notre dame grad.

If both teams play their best error free game ND wins by two scores. Superior athletes across the board. Will that happen ? Can't wait to find out.

My Lord chasemeballs, you act like ND made up the schedule for the playoffs. If ND advances they will be playing the best teams out there. Please tell us oh wise one, what does the crystal ball of F+ project to be the NC?

Lol Chase my Balls stirring the pot. Don't respond to his mentally charged comments. IU has a good team should be a great game. I'll miss the game. I'll be in Europe.

The line seems about right. If this was at Lucas Oil I’d probably have it as a pure toss up. In South Bend ND should be favored.

Wind is the big factor not so much temperature. Listening to NFL QBs they don't like the wind, temp is non factor
Temperature is a non-factor in the passing game ? ? ?

If you think catching a ball at 25° is no different than catching a ball at 75°
You’ve never played football
The difference is enormous !

The wind is a much bigger factor than the cold because you have little control over the throw. Of course it's more difficult to catch the ball in the cold. Can't catch a ball the wind causes to sail either.
