Rivals projects Petit as a tight end, but Notre Dame is recruiting the four-star recruit as a wide receiver. Rivals ranks him as the No. 16 tight end in the 2026 class. His offer list includes the likes of Miami, Florida, Auburn, Missouri and Penn State.
Petit caught 50 passes for 777 yards and 12 touchdowns during his junior season.
